My day to day start by : - Greeting every one that I come across; - Conduct a 10 minute meeting with colleague reflecting back on previous days productivity and obstacles experienced : i.e System errors ,absentism and staff head count etc. - Checking how many sales and retention attained for the previous day in contrast to the target for the Month; - Follow up on calling back all clients that needed to be contacted as promised prior. - Receiving calls and responding to the email requests sent by clients and sticking to SLA turnaround times I have learned that , Time management and being able to prioritize when under pressure is of essence. The most challenging aspect of the job is when there are calls waiting and system is not working and trying to get hold of the client only to find that the contact details provided are not up to date and there is no email option on client profile .

Great opportunity to learn and grow

Excellent learning experience and expose to different business units.
I am currently working as ETL Analyst /developer; I have worked with few Data warehousing tools like Datastage and Teradata, Mainframe, TWS etc. Liaise with business units on systems/ process enhancements, translating business requirements. Produce feasibility reports and drawing up testing schedules. I work well with others. I am capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines. I learn at an excellent pace and I am ready to face new challenges and welcome them as a test of my abilities.
Pros: Great working environment and culture.
Cons: I have been with the company for too long and i believe change will be great in order for me to grow and learn more challenges.

Enhanced due dilligent officer
To assist the head of money laundering & terrorist financing control by providing support, guidance and advice with regards to the Enhance Due Diligence process in order to enable the bank to comply with the requirements of money laundering and Terrorist financing legislation. Prevent fraud, misconduct and corruption from occurring by ensuring that internal controls are effective and detect potential fraud in customers’ accounts. Identify and escalate adverse trends in customers’ accounts and reporting suspicious transactions. Determine customers that pose a high money laundering or terrorist financing risk to the bank. Screening and of checking information received from Business and other relevant sources. Load STR on suspicious transactions.

Good company
Good company to work for. Great relationship with my peers. Learning has been good because one can take their own initiative to up skill themselves. The bank takes very good care of its employees in terms of bonuses, company product rates, benefit as well as medical aid. The challenges are securing educational financial aid and rising up the corporate ladder, there is no recognition whatsoever.

customer servicess controroom operator access control surveillance functions monitoring of bank asserts movement of cash vehicles reporting of faulty equipment create security awereness team work Being proactive I enjoyed to provide customer services to enforce procesure checking emergency equipment monthly attending courses first aid and fire firefighter writing report supervising the contractors

I have become an atm custodian
Well I had a great time working with other colleagues that we were in the same department and the company provided with minimum benefits. I have learnt about banking and investment and what have enjoyed most was being an atm custodian. The challenging part was dealing with complaints but I handled then in proper way.
