Application for the employment I started working for Standard Bank in April 2004 as a Customer Information Consultant at Berry’s Corner. I then worked through Quest Personnel as a Customer Service Consultant/ Enquiries, working mostly with Mzantsi Account. On 01 August 2005 I was permanently employed as a Customer Service Consultant and now I am a Fraud Analyst at Forensic Department from 2009 until present. I upskilled myself by seeking more information and helping other departments to process Cheque account, credit cards, RCP’s, Society schemes and also Home loans account. Allow me to emphasise that I am a dedicated and hardworking person and willing to go the extra mile. My friendly character makes it possible for me to communicate with all types of people. I would like to be considered for the position because I am high spirited and enthusiastic. I am a consistent worker and extremely thorough.

Pros: : Investigate and analyse Homeowners Claims, Commercial, Motor and Non-Motor Claims, Funeral, Hospital Cash Plans, Credit life claims to reduce fraud and to identify risks. Specify and recommend control frameworks in managing risk, preventing and detecting irregularities of which fraud makes up the key component. Assisting management in limiting the loss to the bank due to fraud, theft, dishonety and negligence. Use investigation procedures to identify fraud and high risk cases. Investigate all incidents in a professional and cost effective manner. Doing staff investigation and SAICB Queries and also Monthly Stats for Credit Life, Compile Investigations Preliminary Report and send to our stakeholders, Capturing cases on Case Management, Doing physical investigation with our investigators.

Seeing to different customers, work well with co workers, gained alot of experience in the different departments, I love working with people, challenges include irate customers.

You learn something new everyday

at my company adherence and scheduling is important which has taught me to be prompt at all times we have targets which has to be met which is an advantage as the harder you work the higher your bonus

Great learning curve

My work experience at Standard Bank has created a platform for me to learn more about myself and how to handle myself in certain situations and/or conflicts. I was also exposed to a very impeccable level of professionalism. I have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, good leadership skills and work well under pressure. My character was moulded and crafted by the staff and managers of the company.

Excellent Learning Curve

I enjoy doing customer service on a daily basis. I have learn a lot on the current post , but with the help of my previous customer service with different Companies that I worked for before. I have a good customer service to my clients and my relationship with colleagues is very good. I always go an extra mile with my clients and work in detail. I enjoy attending to different customer queries and make sure that every customer that I deal writhe is happy after I consulted with. Most challenging thing is having to deal with complicated issues, but I make sure that I consult my superiors for assistance so that at the end of the day the customer is assisted

Pros: It's a great place to work, having to attend to different types of Client, with different challenges everyday. The job is to much enjoyable.
Cons: It's not a full day shift, I only need to work half day. Will have to wait for 2 years in order to climb a corporate ladder in the Company or to get a full day shift.

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE, SKILLS AND EXPIRIENCE

IT is good however we have different days, typical work day will be when facing difficult customers who stops everything. we have a good working relationship with co- workers i have how to communicate, work faster and accurate. i enjoy giving customer service and solutions to any service problem. most challenging aspects is when the unplanned circumstances take place

My stepping stone to success

working in the the voice branch is a great challenge because you get to Discover a lot of things which you did not about your self,one of the things was time management ,patients.I have learnt how to multi skill and work in groups which i could before because i always thought working alone produces great results .The challange i faced was to gasp so much information at a short period and at the end of the day i always found a way to overcome the challenge .What i enjoyed the most was helping clients especialy when i knew that the query is something which i can resolve and manage to put a smile on a clients face after the interaction
