A good training environment
Center for learning gives company related training programmes. I am working currently in a assurance test centre. Our customer base are Telkom top 40 paying customers. All their telecommunications faults have one stop shop.
Pros: Total understanding of telecommunications
Cons: Access /licenses to access critical tools not easy to get

Excellent Learning Curve
Worked for 18 Years at Telkom. Went on numerous courses within the company. Telkom outsourced to WNS. WNS only kept Telkom employees working for +/- 6 months than retrenched all of us.

Wide range of opportunities
Communication skills made easy understood in form of continuous improvement and training . Company had training facilities and materials that reflect a true picture of what happens in the real connection as soon as you've connected. I've learned good work ethics and interact better to relate with colleagues.

Open mindedness vast growth and development mass factor of opportunities
It's freedom of excellent quality and value of service attained , sales on guaranteed leads . I was even given an opportunity to study and develop in areas I never knew I could especially psychologically. Managing customers and taking lead of the call.

Excellent Learning curve
• I want to move on because I'm looking for a new and greater challenge, and I also move on because of the restructuring process and retrenchment process going in the company – not because I dislike my current job. • I enjoy the challenge; I enjoy the responsibility and I enjoy the pressure. Precise approach which is necessary for me to deliver the information the management rely upon. The exposure of working on SAP and working with big projects examples Spar, Shoprite, Woolworths just to name a few. • Overall the confidence, maturity level and professionalism. • Telkom exposed me to lots of job experience (Call Agent, Technical Support , Admin Support ,Dispatcher Customer Care Coordinator & Project Coordinator) • Am like an asset to Telkom.

Call centre environment I've worked with Telkomsa for a long time
I've worked with customers for twelve years moving from one department to the other within the call centre, I like working with customers, solving problems, advising customers on how to handle their accounts. I wish I was a psychologist to be able to help people resolve their problems on daily basis. It was good working in an open plan office that gave me the opportunity to know and build a good relationship with my co-workers. I have learned that patient is a virtue one must take time to know and understand things especially that are around you at all times. I enjoyed my clients especially those who come with attitude and know what they want I managed to deal with them but the problem was they ended up not wanting to be helped by anyone but me every time the come through. Challenges are when my boss is on my toes I like working in my space and I will deliver more than the company wants. I like my job and I always want to make my clients happy
Pros: Its easier when I understand the jub because it makes my life easy and will be able to achieve my goals
Cons: I don't mind working long hours as long as it pays extra to my salaties

Good customer relation (internal and external)
I have extensive experience in data capturing, reconciliation, filing and accounts clerk related duties. I have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast paced environment without comprising quality and accuracy. I have good organizational and time management skills and deadline driven. Established a good working relationship with the clients. I offered general administration support.
