Learning curve
My current employer has over 500 employees. My typical day is mostly related to both hardware and software issues, at the moment users have old machines that crash daily. In a day I will have about 3 to 4 laptops or desktops that I need to change parts or reimage. I have learned so much over the years that I have been with my current employer, mostly hardware related. I was never able to do hardware support before. My team consists of women, it is mostly not easy working with women but we work very well with each other and support one another.
Pros: There is always opportunities for growth and as well as learning
Cons: Lack of resources when it comes to user support.

Industrial engineer lean technician
I am a passionate enthusiastic, adaptable engineer, graduated at Cape Peninsula University Of technology (CPUT). I worked at Transnet as Lean representative. I also opened my own company assisting other companies and municipal metros with sales, marketing, Lean and ISO. My company is now sold and I am available to work immediately. I believe with all the experience I have I will insure the entire task required from me are met.

Working hard
Working in Transnet I have experience a lot of challenge when its came to finish my job I have to repeat the measurement of my work to make sure its accurate,but I always make it right on time .Working with my Co-workerd was great experience most helping each other and we had good communition if something went wrong we solve it by ourselves.Most thing I enjoy about my work I just operate the machine and finish the job by itself and I just measure is it on right size and I was happy all the time if I was asked to finish my 300 bush in a day I managed because in must Tarret lathe manage to do 5 bush in 4mins of my time. I have learnt I must never give up no matter how hard is the work has to be done by the day.

Excellent
Its been good working here. I lerned a lot of things. And l lerned a lot of new thing. I know how to use centre lathe and milling machine. And little bit of cnc lathe and milling. I can do slots and groves. I know many tool. I was luck to have this appoturnite to study as Turner Mchinist.

Exellence learning curve
I am a qualified electromechanician. I am currently working at Transnet as a senior technical worker. The basis of my role is to ensure process reliability through zero machine failures, through attendance of planned maintenance schedules, effective fault finding and other maintenance workshop practices, and willingness to participate in any maintenance projects.
