It is an excellent learning curve
I've acquired a very good experience with the company it is good to work at the company as customer wants to be assisted by me and they even ask my where abouts if I'm on my breaks. I need explore new things in customer service .I have acquired certificate in services desk,customer services,sales and merchandising and fine jewellery currently doing certificate in supervising .I'm open to learn and share,it will be an honour to hear from you.Thank you

Customer service
Working in retail it's big challenge and also fascinating .what I love about retail is giving customer service ,merchandising and that we meet different people with different cultures everyday .It teaches me how to approach customer in a professional ,friendly manner for them to feel welcomed.With the team work that we have with my colleagues it's easy for me to handle the pressure,I enjoy working with them because they are helpful and supportive.I wish and hope to find a team in future.i am passionate about retail and I love working with people.I love working at that store because it's a great company that sells fashionable clothes that accommodating everybody

Great learning experience
My days are always different from the other days, I get to deal with different customers each day and sometimes it's the same customers but still it's always different and has it own challenges. My colleagues and I are like one big happy team and family, we may have our differences at some point but we respect and appreciate each other and we truly believe in communication. I have the most beautiful team anyone could ever ask for. During the time I have served as a Sales Consultant I have really learnt how to be patient, not to take things into heart especially with angry customers, I am more alert, energetic, excellent communication skills, how to build good relationships with customers and I have learnt how to multitask. I really get motivated and pleased when I get to put a smile on my customer's face in any situation, my customers are always my first priority. The challenges are always there but what hits me the most is rejection.

Good experience and team work
I have a lot of experience and also learned so very much about team building and getting to multitask in different departments with in 7 working hours of the business, I have learned onbhow to respect time to get to work and even knock off time unless there was extra time given,the relationship we have here its the best especially with the merchandisers because its with them that we interact the most because they come to us to fetch the stock to the sales floor, then the most challenging time its during pick trade where by we would receive too much stock an we have a little space with a lot of stock in the stockroom, but due to our experience we would come up with a solution of coming in early for work but that is after we made an agreement with the manager,I enjoy how we all have to participate in everything so that we get our jobs done and reach our target on daily bases

Excellent training and exposure for a new graduate student to learn
I thoroughly enjoyed working at Truworths. One could never predict a typical work day as with retail things can change very quickly. I worked with an incredible team. I really enjoyed trading my product and working with a dynamic team.

Great learning curve
it is a great company to work for but there is no growth.you do the same thing every day. there are no challenges. there is a very huge number of people working in the office and that gives one an opportunity to learn how to treat people and how to live with different people. there is a lot of competition because each person is required to meet the banchmarks that are given to us.

Team work
Where I work I just feel like it's a good place with friendly colleagues they can easily make you feel at home. What I like about the job is that I get to interact with different types of people I lean about what they like or not. What I really don't like about the job is when I get to service the customer who things knows better than the US or others. My relationship with my colleagues is exallent but there is one which I don't really talk to her about anything because she is a traitor but others they good in what they doing and we have a good relationship. I have learnt to be very patient with any kind of customer I now know how make a person calm down. The most challenging aspect of the job is when we have to do a stock take.

Growth
My typical day at work is looking forward at the challenges an working with my team. I learn alot everyday especially the system that upgrades all the time. I enjoy doing my admin an interacting with my staff and updating them on what the store made an how far we are from target. I'm excited when I see my staff grow in the business.
Pros: The staff are amazing to work with.
Cons: The hours are to long.

I get a chance to learn new things everyday.
I assist customers on what to wear for different occasions and I also make sure to deliver memorable customer service,which is great for me to pursue a career in customer service skills.
