All rounder
love working, having fun yet also completing deadlines and tasks. Go the extra mile and solve problems to maintain a good working environment. Friendship with co-workers is important as it plays a role in work nd personal life as friends can be made anywhere anytime and is there to help eachother.

A strong project management background in telecommunications, education, construction to name a few
My duties at the Vodacom are, but not limited to, managing multiple projects running at the same time. Managing multiple installers working at the same time to ensure that clients Fibre installations are completed in the given time frame of 6 hours. Manage clients’ expectations on how the fibre installation work, what they can expect as well as how to use the service. Ensure that the teams have with them all other gadgets that the client requires, e.g, Analogue phone / Snom 300 handsets, LTE modems etc. Ensure that clients information on our systems is correct and up to date. Ensure closure of client’s orders to start off the correct billing. Assist and follow up on client’s port-in requests that are made. Create exco reports on project progress, issues and suggestions. Manage the team’s escalation queries that come in from clients. I set and reach daily, weekly & monthly targets of client activations to calculate the revenue we’re bringing in for the business.

Excellent learning opportunity
A typical workday involves planning the next steps; follow up on the work that needs to be done this week according to the plan and reporting on that, which happened in the last week. Sometimes it requires supporting others in the team by getting in the trenches and assisting with the operational tasks required of the department. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers. In my time as part of the Vodacom advertising team I have learned a lot about mobile advertising. That as well as the technology involved in digital adverting; the future of mobile advertising and the day-to-day challenges with getting the data required for reporting and campaign management. I enjoy it most when the plan comes together. When a team delivers on an outstanding task or solve a problem. I find the most challenging aspects of my job when people are reluctant to commit and deliver.

Regulatory and Legal compliance
The Regulatory Affairs Department at Vodacom is constituted by a total of 9 employees who are all responsible for providing advice to the company on matters ranging from Economic Regulation, Market Regulation, Technical Regulation, Regulatory Law and Compliance. Roles and responsibilities are divided according to areas of responsibility. Department characterised by good and open working relationship with co workers and l am able to interact at all levels. One thing that l have learnt relates to open dialogue, consultation and engagement with co workers to seek their views on several issues. At the same time there is a need to take full ownership of the advice rendered. What l enjoy the most about my job is that there are no boundaries as l am allowed to think out of the box and provide solutions to matters at hand. There are several challenges associated with my work: - the extra hours to get the job done - convincing senior management team to adopt a less popular view

Looking for a new challenge
Hi, I am currently working for Vodacom within the Engineering Operations department.I manage multiple projects on a daily basis to ensure the company's objective is achieved or even exceeded. Open door policy is one of my management styles and I have learned by empowering one's sub ordinates and trusting them is a recipe for success. Excellent Learning Curve. Oportunity to climb the copoarate ladder
A typical work day: Driving the department and divisional stratey through communucation with various stakeholder levels in the company. Relationship with co-workers: Have a sound relationship with co workers which is beneficial as it assist in cutting through red tape and asssits in with the delivery and completion of tasks timeously. What I have learnt: I have learnt that it take team work in order to deliver on the required objectives. A manager needs to build a good work relationship with staff in order to obtain the best performance output from them. Management means balancing work performance with staff personal goals. What I enjoy most: The interaction with various stakeholswr in the organisation. Being able to deliver a good product or service based on the strategy initiated. The most challenging aspects of the job is aligning other department startegy with your own as buget and resources remain and constraint. Regards Craig Christian

Great place to learn how to give customers the best Service
I have learned that customers are kings/queens.Never promise a customer something that you won’t deliver. Customers are different and you need to be able to adjust your emotions. To be the best agent you’ll need to have a great relationship with your colleagues.A Customer query never need to stop cause you are not around .Always do a hand over when you know your not going to at work.
