Pleasant learning experience.
excellent company to work for,dependant on department you are working in and also exposure. Growth opportunities minimal. salary growth very minimal and barely noticable

GOOD LEARNING PATH AND LOT OF EXPERIENCE
busy and hard working.friendly people with warmth LOVING HEART.I have learnt howto work hand in hank with coworkers and clients.I benefited a lot.i built solid working relationship with my co-workers. I most enjoyed my work .as i was doing 4 positions teller,customer service, treasury,ATM. Working with clients also excited me. The most challenges were when it is month end and i had to manage doing 4 positions and my files and listings it was hard

Excellent company to work for but the senior manager(within the business unit) are so subjective.
My work is normal creditors function , the relationship with co-workers is superb. I have learnt and gain skills and expreince of the functions of all the department from my business unit , from capturing of invoices to prospecting new client. I enjoy the company of co-worker. My supervisor he lacks all aspect of how to manage business and well as human capital

Excellent working
Love working for them. Have greatr opportunities to grow. Offers you a why to work towards your gaols. Absa is a fast paste company everyday there is new challenges new ways to grow.

The day mainly consist of consulting with the business, Planning and Creating workable solutions around performance problems, motivating and managing a team to success. Challenging and provides opportunity for growth
Challenging and provides opportunity for growth which is of great preference to me. The job allowed me to stretch beyond my capabilities and provides a great platform to constant learning which is ideal. My competence and aptitude was proven in this environment. And I've learned the importance of observing and working within company policy.

I would describe myself as self-motivated, loyal and hardworking individual who is not afraid of challenges. My experience as a consultant has taught me to be able to work under pressure, to interact with others effectively and to solve problems in a critical and creative ways. I am interested in working in an inclusive work environment which provides me the opportunity for growth, to learn more, work with and be inspired by energized, like- minded individuals.

I have learned a lot about different people and different things
Every day is a different challenge we meet new people on a daily basis which we have to help and understand their banking needs and solution them as best as possible. We get bonus or rather incentives depending on how well the branch has performed,we have daily sales targets that we must reach every department has its own targets. My typical day would be meeting a client greeting and assisting with a transaction that a client requires at that time count money from or for the client and ask what else i can help with the its farewell then another client same thing. My colleagues are such good people of course everyone has their off days but its not all bad ,we have a good working relationship i always try to get along with everyone and avoid any conflicts because it will affect my work. Working here has been such a great experience i have grown so much personally and work wise i learned so many things even about myself.
Pros: We get trained to deliver nothing but excellence to our customers
Cons: we don't get paid overtime during the week and we always leave after hours during month end
