I work in a structured environment. I love working with my team, everyday is a learning experience for me. The most challenging aspects of the role is the extensive traveling and the long hours on the road.

Exposure to different areas
Well the process we use is internationally recognized. But with the team I'm in the expertize are not equally divided among team members. Sharing of work is not exercised and so I end up doing nothing. I will volunteer but I often end up always volunteering and not having a role. The environment is okay, working hours are reasonable but communication between team is not clear.

Pleasant learning experience.
excellent company to work for,dependant on department you are working in and also exposure. Growth opportunities minimal. salary growth very minimal and barely noticable

Cons: you have to be self reliant, because of the size of the institution you tend to become just another number

JOB PERFOMANCE
GOOD WORK AS TEAM PERFOMANCE AND WELL COMMUNICATION AND GOOD TARGETS APPROACH WITH MY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS. I ALSO BECAME A TELLER OF A MONTH OCTOBER FOR THE REGION, WITH WIDE SKILLS AND STRATEGY I APPLY FOR EVRY WORK I GET TO DO. Excellent learning curve
It was a very exciting and challenging job.i was in a credit card division,I have delt with everything that has to do with credit card,such as increasing and decreasing the limit,tracing replacement and tracing new cards.list is endless for my day to day duties.Relationship with my co-workers was good and professional.i have learn to work under pressure and also to work as team.The relationship I had with clients was amazing,communicating with clients I enjoy doing that.challenging part was receiving call after call with out catching a breath.

Exceptional learning curve
Open accounts do applications for credit and savings as well as investments. Do own admin of completed work . Follow up with clients after the first meeting and build a lasting relationship so as to be able to cross sell at a later stage

Excellent leaning curve
It was a great opportunity working for Absa as I gain so much experience that assist me to performe well at my job. Time management is one of my skills, I am target driven and always achieve goals I set for myself.

Do to others what you will like them to do to you
I work at Absa bank from 2009 till now 2016. I have been working from different departments but for company and in every every department I make relationships from my colics to our clients that came every time to us day in day out.I enjoy working with people and I am a peoples person,humbled and thoughtful towards other like one event that a client came into the bank needing assistance with bulk money and there was one body at the bulk and they came to my teller and I help the client with a smile and great assistance and had persistency towards the client up untill I was done helping them and they where thankfull and left the bank very happy. The relationship between me and colics is great and team related, I have learned a lot within the experience I have in the bank and that it feels good to go to work not only to go and work but also helping others in there need.

i am one f the candidate who looks to set footprint in investment industry. i love and passionate to work with teams. in my honours degree i was interested in derivatives instruments and have been always looking posts in the industry. options,call, swaps, futures,butterfly strategies all those instruments i felt interest to deal with them. i dont have much experience however i am willing to
