It's a good company to work at.

Its a great place to work at. The only issue is sometimes they don't like it if you want to study something outside of Banking yet they retrench every 2 years.

Pros: Great people
Cons: Too many retrenchments every year

The Journey

Everyday was very inciteful and informative. I had a good relationship with my co-workers was very good and some of them became very good friends with them. The training and experience I gained made me an expect. I learned how to handle irate customers and assist them to their outmost satisfaction. As time went I got a promotion to lead a small team for a project at my department. When I moved to the fraud department , that was when I was trained to be a fraud investigator. the culture of the company, the team buildings, environment. I did find the job challenging was i enjoyed being kept on my toes, and due to the great team and training that we had it made the work more easy.

Pros: Culture, Team
Cons: Salary

Fraud Hotline Specialist

I'm working in a call centre environment in a team of 40+ people.. we receive calls for suspected fraud, fraud alerts and follow ups on fraud cases. we block accounts that are implicated in fraud, suspend client's internet banking to prevent further fraud. Working in a fraud department has taught me more on hiw to deal with an irate client, how to put myself in somebody's shoes (both work and out of work), ive also learnt how to multi task. The most challenging part of my job is telling the client what they don't want to hear. Then for client's who want feedback on their cases, I dont have access to see how far the case is but i need to atleast give the cluent something that is solid. My relationship with my colleagues is awesome, we are a united team. we share happy and sad moments together

Pros: learning on how to take control of every query. being your own supervisor
Cons: no stability
