The Journey
Everyday was very inciteful and informative. I had a good relationship with my co-workers was very good and some of them became very good friends with them. The training and experience I gained made me an expect. I learned how to handle irate customers and assist them to their outmost satisfaction. As time went I got a promotion to lead a small team for a project at my department. When I moved to the fraud department , that was when I was trained to be a fraud investigator. the culture of the company, the team buildings, environment. I did find the job challenging was i enjoyed being kept on my toes, and due to the great team and training that we had it made the work more easy.

Gaining a broader knowledge and skills
Every morning I update team stats from the previous days work flow, see what is left and how much work inflow we have for the day and distribute to my team members Processs transactions as per stakeholders request i.e set offs, eft's, account closure and induplum for the following products; mortgage loans, personal loans, cheque accounts and credit cards Have 10 minute sessions to update the team on their stats The job has taught me responsibility and working hand in hand with my team leader has given me leadership skills and approaching difficult situations more logical and having our customers and stakeholders best interest at heart

Strong financial background
Very briefly, I feel this is a great opportunity for me to expand on my knowledge and contribute my working experience gained over the past few years in the finance industry. I am currently a Portfolio Support Officer ( in the Wealth and Investment cluster) for a reputable financial institution. I belong in a team of 8 Financial Specialists, with different functions that collaborate together harmoniously. Excellent learning opportunities
I completely love my job. If there was a job available at Absa for me I would stay. Every day I am busy with alot of different elements. It is never the same, all depending on what comes in. I have learnt alot within my Roles at Absa. All included in my CV. What I love most about my job within Absa, is that I am every day challenged. I learn lots every single day.
