Working shift as apprentice millwright at arcelor mittal before I qualified
To whom it may concern VACANT POSITION AS MILLWRIGHT Please I would like to forward my application as millwright, my name is B.S. LUNGA. I completed my apprenticeship millwright whilst working full time at arcelor mittal and passed my trade test on the 16 September 2013. I have good communication skills, well organized and strive to complete the tasks to the best of my ability at all times; I am willing to learn more about my career. Gain sufficient technical knowledge and looking to advance myself going forward.
Busy most of the day due to aging plant. Good working relationship with colleagues. Gained sufficient experience on Heavy current Equipment and working processes of the plant. I enjoy the technical aspects of my field as it becomes more interesting when you understand it. Breakdowns can be challenging sometimes requiring me to work up to 24 hours a shift in order to rectify the problem as soon as possible. Preventative maintenance is key to prevent major breakdowns and improve plant availability. Training and supervising apprentices and learner Technicians. Providing and suggesting innovative solutions to superiors.
Pros: Excellent learning experience.
Cons: Company looking to retrench due poor financial output.

Great learning experience
Great WORK Place great people love the vibe at work and looking forward everyday to get to work and do what i love. The opportunity to grow and excel and to equipt yourself is there and that is what makes the worker happy is when the employer look after his employees over all the love care and safety must be considered at all times when you are working in a workplace that concmsist of a lot of dangerous equiptment

Well paced learning
The company is a very good company to work for, But not for the long run, due to financial issues there is not much of a future for the workers and you do not know for how long your job is safe
Pros: Very good exposure to different conditions eg. Working at hights , confined spaces and gas areas
Cons: Not having a option to stay at Mittal after I qualified

Excellent planning and communication skills
I am excellent in planning and coordinating, and love working in the logistics sector. I invoice loads of steel to be desparched to clients to ensure excellent customer service delivery. I talk daily with various transport companies to arrange for the trucks to come and load my invoiced loads. I work on NIPPS and SAP systems. I have excellent working relationships with all of my colleagues, and work well in a team based environment but also able to work on my own. Cons of my job-i am only a contracor with no benefits

Work safe on a daily basis.keep client up to date with all progress on daily work done.
All employees go home safe to their loved ones and family. Relationships and communication is the core of coworkers relationship. There is no Dom question listern to the man on the floor. Job completed in a safe way client and employee is happy. Working at high roofs without any incidents

Excelent benefits
It a big company with alot of capacity to gain experience and learn more. It a rely great place to grow the skills and experience. The main thing they care about ia the safety to all employees that why they have a long list of training programes to teach about safety.

Growth and change
I enjoy working with a team or by myself when the task is set and all the safety checks are done. I learn on a daily basis as no challenge at work may be the same but procedures help with routine work. I enjoy working with my hands and getting my job done correctly because that's the most satisfying part. Knowing that I did my best to get the best results to help my team.

Great experience
I worked in a maintenance team consists of fitters , welders , boilermakers , millwright, elect we all responsible sinter plant maintenance. Each individual has it own section his accountable for whereas during breakdowns we help each other and when one is absent one team will inspect that section .
