Excellent customer service is my strong point

I work in a team of 10 monitored on individual performance. I work on a calls to sales conversion. The environment is good its permanent nightshift but its nothing different to any company working during the day. Im a 2ic I work hand in hand with my manager to monitor overall team performance and develop and upskill existing agents and new recruits through coaching sessions.

Pros: A permanent job
Cons: Once you become a top performing agent its difficult to be promoted or move to another campaign

Daily functions

A typical day at my workplace is rather gratifying. I have an opportunity to motivate and inspire my team to reach there own personal goals, by working interdependently we reach team targets. My team are like my family we drive each other to new highs. There is no better feeling that leaving the office after a productive days work knowing targets are met and that your team members are going to be fresh and ready for the next day.

Pros: great company for growth

I matriculated in 2009 and studied Marketing in Durban

I matriculated in 2009 and studied Marketing in Durban University of Technology and graduated in 2014 and worked at Gateway City College as a marketing consultant from 05/01/2015 to 30/09/2016 and I was in charge of recruiting student and the overall marketing activities of the college and now I'm working at CCI as a technical support agent both in voice and chat for internal campaigns

Cci was a great learning curve

Cci has taught me alot and I have learnt alot and grew my weaknesses as well as strengthen my strengths to great potential enabling me to overcome and resolve any situation or problem at hand

Good earning potential

I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I also have lots of ideas and enthusiasm, I am also available immediately.

Good reception skills Good presentation skills PERSONAL PROFILE I am a hardworking, independent, self motivated individual who is easily socialise and communicate with everyone unconditionally. I am a trustworthy candidate who has an ability to take on challenges and able to perform tasks that I am aquired to encounter or do in the workplace. I am easily adaptable to using new skills and technology and also go extra miles when performing my duties. I am self disciplined person and have good entrepreneurial flair.

Great learning opportunity and growing in the indusrty

A typical work day is one of the most challenges that I face every day since im in a customer service industry so i manage it by taking every customer as valuable as the other and treat every call like my first call through out the day. As we are gathered in teams i work very well with my co workers and team mates as im also the second in charge for the team. I have learnt that in customer service indusrty you must be able to understand and value each customers need and be able to sort whatever querry that you receiving even if it for the first time. Learning and assisting customers to my best ability and receiving compliments with my job well done. Receiving a call from an irrate customer that is stressed and frustrated at the same time that require my assistance because at time the customer dont wanna listen but then because i was well trained i manage to calm and help no matter what the matter is about.

Excelent learning curve

I’m highly organised, thorough and motivated professional, having solid experience in claims and a valuable background in customer service Working as a claims consultant, I am able to help clients to remain calm in stressful situations. I am often thanked for my assistance in making a tense situation less confusing and more manageable. In my career I have always been driven to balance between expected outcomes and full satisfaction of customers. I have an analytical mind, and am very much a team player who thrives in a stimulating and dynamic environment. I possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent learning curve

A typical work day, is when you are finding the clients that comes to you on chat unhappy or angry and you have to cool them down. You must be able to empathies with the customer, make sure that after the chat with you, the customers leaves very happy. At CCI there is a slogan that says, one family, one dream, the relationship with co-workers is wonderful. I have learned to be able to socialize with different people and different cultures, to understand other peoples behavior. What I enjoyed the most is the incentives that we received every month. The most challenging thing is when our clients are not happy and we have to work overtime and make sure we keep them happy, so that the business will be successful and we can have the job.

Good company to work for but no growth

I have learnt a lot working at cci working as customer service agent in one of the biggest local campaign. Started working as a prepaid agent there after moved to post paid which was completely different from prepaid. We were dealing with billing related queries, invoices and also adding services for customers. I enjoyed a lot working with my colleagues especially during our team buildings or during theme days where everyone would dress up according to the theme

Pros: Easy to make commission
Cons: Long working hours
