toga typical work day is getting everything in order and make sure your day is planned ahead. Yes steps will change but it makes it easier to start your day. ethi strongly believe to have a good working relationship with your Co workers as you spend most of the day with your Co workers. eri have learned alot at the City of Cape Town. Doi g first aid courses admin skills. . I enjoy working with the community. Helping people less fortunate is always a good feeling to my heart. Challenging aspect is if you can't help someone when it's out of your control.

Learning curve
On a typical day you come in the morning and clock in at/before 07:30. Attend a meeting with a supervisor and other artisan to brief about previous jobs status and the new jobs you Have. After the meeting you go out on the field with a job card either to attend a breakdown or to do planned maintenance. The company doesn't have specified times for lunch and tea break. I usually had to work in a team to achieve most of the work so the relationship with Co workers was good. What I learned most was to always pay attention to detail as we worked with electricity and it can be dangerous if you are working recklessly and unsafe. Most challenging aspect is the long hours and you also have to deal with customers

Excellent learning curve
Itits a good learning curve for dtart ups , and mainly forhard wokersi have learned a lot of team work, ja its a great place for one to growwith its mixed races you get the chance to learn abot other cultures and other peoples beliefs so that you can respect each other

Excellent
I am a good worker always on time and finishing all targets placed. I have al together almost twenty years working experience with no injuries or accidents. I have supervisory experience and lots of short course attended and recently obtained a degree. I am willing to make my mark once again given a chance.

Currently I am working in BI Finace team, I am busy with reports reconciliations.
I also create month end National Treasury workbooks using a SAP tool called BE Analyzer. Write Functional specification for business, do testing, solve service requests, writing minutes, Conducting follow up visits, applying business functional knowledge, Understanding business processes, assisting organising workshops.
Pros: I started in City of Cape Town as a student, but now I work as Intern
Cons: I worked 10 hrs per day since June-September

To learn new things and meeting difficult people but that gives you a solid backbone
I'm working with files everyday to make sure that there documents are sign and filled correctly scheduling meetings for my boss and receiving and making calls. my mentors and co-workers they are too good for me and we have a good relation. I enjoy working with my team and dealing with new challenges everyday.
Pros: I would like to be promoted in this nature of business
Cons: I'm a flexible person I dowhat my bosses tell me to do

Excellent learning space
On a typical working day I arrive at 9am and leave around 4pm in the afternoon . We do construction work. I am part of a great team ,we work well as a team, as a result we always get the job done hours before the deadline. What I've learnt in these years of working in this company is the importance of teamwork and communication between co-workers, as well as respect amongst co-workers .What I enjoy the most is my actual job ,doing construction work ,because it's something I love and am very good at doing .The most challenging aspect about my job would be being grouped with a team that can't work well under pressure and that's always complaining instead of trying their best on getting the job done.

About working at City of Cape Town
At times it is a great institution and at times not. But mostly if you do what is required of you according to your job description it is ok. Working for the city of Cape Town can be like working with family. You have your ups and downs. But as an institution safety comes first. The opportunities that arise may not always go to a deserving one but people have growth opportunity. There are many opportunities for training and up skilling which is quite impressive. Teams work well with each and overall the work environment is good.
Pros: Offers learnerships
Cons: May not have enough jobs for the learnership students
