Going for training for call center

I love working in a well fuctioning environment ad hardworking people, I love working with people and helping them in whatever I can. Convincing client to buy is the most exciting thing as much as it's not easy but it's worth it

Big insurance company in South African insurance industry. Many opportunities of growth within the company. Already a trusted and household name. Has multiple marketing opportunities.

Excellent learning curve

- Sales managers at clientele work typically 10-14 hours per day, I am usually in the office by 6am reviewing the previous day's stats and doing a bit of analytics. 7.30am I will hold a meeting with the 5 supervisors that report into me, we like to call it the "30 minute buzz" where we look at areas of development and where we can improve, try to come up with innovative incentives for sales agents and plan for the day. I am usually out the office by 8pm on a daily basis. Saturdays are normal working days but the upside is that tithe Saturday shift starts at 9am and ends at around 3pm The most challenging part of my job is having to bring in 300-400 NEW clients on board everyday and keeping a staff compliment of 150 motivated each day. the unique thing about sales management which is also the toughest is hitting that "reset" button everyday!

Pros: Opportunity for growth is always there for hard workers
Cons: Long hours, never get to see my family as sometimes im on site 7 days a week, remuneration is not the best either

Good listerner. hardworker.

i have been in a supervisory role for a while now. i can say that i t has been a rough and very interesting ride which was filled with fulfillment for the job. i am currently looking after a team of 20 retention and capture team. my hard work has paid off, supervisor of the new 1st runner up also completed few courses from work. i enjoy working in a team motivation is my motto. driving and pushing target my daily goal.

Pros: target driven. hard worker. adapt easy to change.
Cons: overtime, not paid for. long hrs.

Meeting new people all the time

Its great opportunity of meeting new people all the time because you learn new thing everyday,. I have learnt how to be a good leader and also how to be a good team player in these four companies that I have worked for, and learnt how to treat different people from different backgrounds.

Pros: I can be promoted an time soon
Cons: I do not mind working long hours because from 07am to 07pm everyday I am used to it

Final year part time student government administration and development,Abet.

Communication ,working with different people and learning new things is what I like, with all the experience I got from university of South Africa doing administration,I will work harder and do as I told.

Pros: Willing to work as much as I can.
Cons: From 7 am to 5 pm

Bad working environment

They don't disclose their salary structure in the interview and they don't pay for overtime. Leads are too bad and management expect you to meet target out of dirty leads.

Sales contact center

The enviroment is active, but leads are not being allocated equally. Work overtime but dont get paid fpr it. Weekends not paid . You must meet your.monthly target inorder to get your bonus.. they dont allow public clinics sick notes but we dont have medical aid.. we get factored and if clients do pay their polocy it affects your salary

Salary review

The environment that I work in is very professional, we all work as a team and the reporting structure is on point, everything is been done within the office park, example being HR,IT, even the Director. and growth is very much unlimited as the company grows by day. we do work extra hours when its needed but that is not an issue at all the only issue there is money, because earning less than 12 000 this days is really challenging.

Pros: Its fun to work there
Cons: active hours

Excellent learning curve

working with clientele was a great opportunity but I was not entirely satisfied with the working hours because of transport issues but there are lift clubs just that there was no one from the area which I stayed
