My experience at Discovery
It is a good company, the culture is refreshing and you are pushed to reach your full potential if you are willing to give it your all and work. The relationships i had where amazing and we could sort out any differences we might have and move on with my colleagues. I have learnt that hard work pays off, how to work as an individual and in a team. I enjoyed talking to people when i was in the call center and assisting them with their queries. I enjoyed the different risks we would have to review when I was in Insure and finding a solution how we would insure a risk.
Pros: Moving internally is not difficult if you work hard
Cons: The salary packages are not good.

Enjoyrd morning meetings with peers and setting of tasks to complete
I like the friendly atmosphere i work in. interacting with people i provide a service to., The challenge is to b able to satisfy them and the positive feedback you ger, Iwas always stopped at all times for queries and advice, I prided myself in being as pro-active as possible.Starting and completing projects was fun and enjoyable

Excellent working skills and easy to get along with
Honestly speaking it was very stressful working at discovery. They was no good working relationships, people looked out for themselves. What I have learned the most is never be vulnerable at the workplace because other employees will take advantage of you. The most challenging except was using my own money to see clients. I did not enjoy my working experience at discovery.

A typical day at work
A typical day at work. Have breakfast, talk to co-workers about the previous day or weekend, we also talk about our difficult queries we had the week or day before. We talk about how we dealt with the difficult query or maybe something that amazed us about the caller. There is upliftment and benefit knowledge. Then the real work starts where I have to log on and take calls and emails. I have become more assertive and empathetic. I’m always ready for change, nothing ever stays the same. Dealing with different personalities and how people deal with how something has affected them. The most challenging aspect I would say are circumstances beyond my control, such as system issues.
Pros: You are continually dealing with people. As a result, you build essential people skills that you can apply in virtually every area of your life. And, when customers are satisfied with outcomes, you often receive a great amount of gratitude, which can be encouraging.
Cons: You are continually dealing with people. This means you can get exhausted and perhaps not feel like interacting with others outside of work.

Great at sercing the needs of customerd and escalation managent.
What I have learnt in my current role is that perhaps internal clients are more challenging than external ones. Typically, a day in my current role is filled with deadlines that need to be met, service levels that nerd to be achieved and managing and monitoring of the team's performance. I am naturally eomeone who thrives off interacting with others. I value input from peers and direct reports as well those I report to. Stakeholder management and statistical presentations is what I enjoy most about my job.

Great learning curve
Its a great company to work for. It can get quite busy at times but its manageable. The people that I work with are amazing people. Easy to get along with. We have a good laugh together.

It was a great learning curve and made me a stronger employee in many aspects.
I have a very busy day from when I walk in. I start my day by teaching 3 to 6 year olds how to swim and then move on to procurement, research and administrative duties. Also including the upholding of maintenance and health and safety. I also manage various budgets always trying to be prudent. I aka great team player and get along with all my colleagues. I really enjoy doing administrative work and love a challenge. I am a very quick learner and I am always eager to learn more.

It was an excellent learning curve and i gained experience.
I have enjoyed the years i spent at Discovery and had a chance to review life in a different angle. working hours are long band i had a great team to work with. as a team player we would share the challenges and motivate each other daily to have productive days.
