Discovery is a very good employer to work for. great people also diverse .
working for discovery is good. a normal day would be going in and dazzling your members over the phone. i had a good relationship with my co-workers, team learders. i have learned a lot on how to deal with member telephonically and being able to join in on the adventure i enjoyed the work experience that was given and being able to make a change in the other persons life. the challenges i had faced was having to keep a certain target low which in most cases happened but every day was a good day

I need more security so i won't have distractions doing my best
I work hard. I don't sit idle when there's work. I work well with others and i can work well as an individual too. I want to work permanently and i want to keep growing and learning.

Great Team Work
So I started working for Discovery Health as an intern Software Developer on the 1st of March My typical day at work starts with the daily stand up where by in a team we each talk about how far we have gone with our tasks and wheat we going to do for that day's sprint. When done with a task you then create a pull request that can be merge. For a pull request to be merged my code has to be reviewed by a team member for quality control. My relationship with my team member is very good. I started by shadowing them and I have become a better developer. Being around them has greatly improved me. I have learned how to manage a large project, by using Atlassian Tools for better version control and project management. I was introduced to technologies such spring boot and Angular 7. I enjoy seeing my code compile and having it ready to be used. The most challenging aspect of the job was getting to understand the business logic. I wish to better invest more time in understanding a companies business logic

Excellent learning curve
Great staff and resources. Upper management do just enough but could do more in terms of assisting team. Alright starting point if you want to get in the company. Moving up to a higher position is less likely

A learning curve.
At Discovery I have the honour of servicing bank card clients. At Discovery there are great people, it is a great working environment, Discovery also has great values. Servicing requires passion for people as you have to be patient.

Excellent skills acquisition in the last 3 years
I jumped into a completely new industry. I have learnt an extensive amount of new skills and product knowledge in the Insurance and Investment sector. Typical day involves solving client queries and requests, acquiring new business and retaining existing clients through upsell and query resolution.

Im always willing to help when the need arise
I;m very passionate about my work and the i dedicate most of my time at work, always willing to help whenever the need arise, Control the medical condition of the patient as far as possible by referrals to medical professionals/service providers.
