DSV Reviews

It was a great experience for me on how to manage time and always meet the company requirements

Working for such big company was of course putting me under a lot of pressure but having a great team that I had could not have asked for a better way for learning and understanding more about the job. Time management is the key to the work and determination . As we all know the work has it's deadlines which must be met well working under pressure and having to properly communicate with clients over phone and emails and succefully meeting the given deadlines .

Pros: The company is an International recognized with great opportunities for me to be employed by different Companies
Cons: The long hours would be twelve hours a Day

Good

I have been working fir DSV almost 2 years now. The starting time we were starting 1:30 no clocking out those were of the challenges we face there. I had good relationship with the workers actually the best relationship because i like working with people. I enjoyed working with the management people there. The challenges we faced is that trucks were always come late and that's mean we will clock out late. I have learnt so much though to face challenges to work with people how to treat other people how to Handle my self

Pros: There was some promising times
Cons: Working for 13 hours

I have learned so much over the years from DSV

When i startes working for DSV I started as a operator, i was in that position for 3years until I became a data capture / material handler , I was in that position for 2 years until I toke the role of desktop support technican in JHB, was in that position for a year , so I have grown so much over the years and have so much understanding and skills to over , If given the opportunity to do so, looking forward to more growth and learning more day to day, I strive to improve and do my job as best I can.

Pros: I've found DSV to be a very good place to work at,the people are very user friendly
Cons: I've seen that the migration to the cloud as really slowed down the network and therefore the productivity

Great exposure, quality solutions that meets business objectives. good team spirit

I’m at large a very hardworking, dependable, self-controlled and confident individual with a strong technical background who possesses self-discipline and the ability to work excellent under pressure, with no or minimum supervision. Having exposure to a wide range of technologies & able to play a key role in diagnosing hardware and software problems and to ensure that quality solutions meet business objectives. Possessing a good team spirit, deadline orientated and having the ability to organise and present complex solutions clearly and accurately. People adapt to change differently; to me personally, change is good because it allows for more flexibility and adaptability to new experiences. I’m looking for a suitable IT support technician position with a successful and dynamic company that offers room for progression.

Pros: Great exposure
Cons: Long hours

I enjoyed my year working there

I started from being a material handler from my hard work being punctual at work and determind in delivering a good service to the client, I got promoted to be an administrator and teamleader in Outbound were 12 people had to report to me. I also had the opportunity to study stock and stores control with PSM College wish the company paid for. Apart from our contract ending on the 22th of December 2017 I enjoyed working there with all the ups and downs and the later hours.im truely going to miss my coworkers we were like a family that's was what made the work environment the best to work in.

Pros: I have learned to be a teamleader
Cons: I'll be in at 6h30 and leave at 22h00 and still be really the next day.
