My work at FNB entails the following
Handling accounts in arrears Writing credit applications for overdrafts and loans(review and new applications) includes Financial Statement Analysis Handling requests from clients(sales) regarding different product houses eg. Wesbank and Forex Handling client complaints Handling admin queries Good working relationship with co-workers I have my one analyst(secretary) who I manage on a daily basis What I have learnt is: Dealing with difficult clients Prioritise daily tasks Planning to meet deadlines Analysing financial statements ito the bank's view regarding credit applications Different systems Interacting with various individuals ito product houses What I enjoy most: Interaction with clients Planning to obtain goals and deadlines Analysing financial statements and data Interaction with co-workers Manager position Most challenging: Difficult clients Deadlines in peak season

Team leader
I'm currently a team leader and have to supervise a team of 15 consultants who work on commission ans get more salary than me, I have to encourage them and motivate then all the time and despite all the challenge s I do my work with a smile

Good start to my career
A typical work day would include assisting clients with their Estate Planning needs including reviewing and updating estate and legacy planning. I have excellent relationships with my colleagues and clients. I enjoy helping client structure their assets in the most effective way.

Excellent learning curve, opportunity to grow
My career didnt limit me, everyday was a learning curve, people are willing to help and mentor you. Team members work together and not against each other.
Pros: I have moved into various departments, management push their staff to change careers learn new business skills

Excellent opportunity for learning about banking industry and products.
FNB as it is well known for being an innovation champion is a best place to persue a career within the banking industry, this as the opportuniy for learning is key and the is no seniority. Great place to work as each day is a challange. The atmosphere is to die for, filled with different activities to keep staff or employees motivated, and the is a open door policy. As an administrator this all helps a lot especially because in my line of work interacting with different department's is key to get the job done, the key hear being to always put the interests of the client first. In this fast paced environment one has to apapt and always ask questions in order to be the best in delivering work of the highest quality. One has to be ethical, effective, accountable, helpful and innovative.
Pros: great opportunity to learn as you are exposed to all the greatest minds in the banking field. Great work environment, great food, great benefits altogether. perfect working hours too. and the dress code is not an issue as long as it is appropriate for work.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills with Clients
I am a very hard working person and have the desire to learn and add value in a team based environment. My interest in business related matters generally led to myself studying commerce at university doing Bachelor of Commerce, Business Management and Industrial psychology being my majors. My ultimate career objective is to become a prominent and established figure in the business world. I would like to explore career opportunities in commerce being both private and public practice. I am looking for challenges, growth and development in professionalism.

Helping keeps u motivated
I work as a multskilled consultant beacause im flexible in all departments. I help different customers most of my day, some come with bad attitude but we I try my outmost best to change it to keep them happy & satisfied. I also work with numbers & lots of cash, because I am also a back-up teller, we have to balance the cash at the end of each day. My relationship with my colleauges is very good, we are like a family because we work as a team to keep the branch ruuning because we are a very small team compared to other branches. Working for Fnb, I have learnt respect, punctuality, good listening skills, time management skills. I enjoy solving their problems & keeping everyone around me happy all the time. Having to work under pressure all the time wiith short staff & working or doing multiple roles most of the time, because i am a collection official but i work as a teller, consultant, service advisor & switchboard operator.
