When I was hired at mr price I first worked in the stock room learn how to receive stock, how to pact it, how to deliver the stock according to their department, then I went to the cash desk where I leart how to put a float, to make a sale, deposit cash. Then I went to the floor where I learn customer service, mack down, promotions,marchandising. I worked different department its was a challenge but I get more skills and more knowledge,I learnt codes according to different stock. What I enjoy the most is team work and understanding to each other in order to achieve a certain goal

Best company to work for
The best company to work for, culture is the best always fun and enjoy working here. Every morning I wake up with a smile ready for the day. Fun times at work and appreciation for a job well done Always included in the company plans good and bad times are shared with employees which makes you feel like family Management always try their best to ensure everybody feels recognized and happy and acknowledged

Excellent learning
I have work in that company and I loved work the the job was have nice with the co workers but now I'm not working I m looking for a job I have a matrix,user computer,business management certificate

A very good learning experience
The typical day at work is a very happy but busy day. I'm one of the most likable guys working for Mr Price, my relationship with my co workers is pretty good I get along with everyone and my team adors me. I've learned to handle though situations with regards to difficult clients as well as team mates and can handle myself accordingly. I enjoy working alone thou team work is my strong point. The most challenging aspect of my job is converting negative customers to yes clients.

I enjoy unpacking new stock and filling up the floor.replenish and maintain the floor while doing customer service.pull out the stock from the stockroom

Excellent learning curve
It's a great start up place , you have to move in order to grow as staying there will mean no growth for your self. Has great culture and full of passion everything there is great , the people there are the best they real people.

Exellent customer service
What i like about my job is from i know how manage a lot of poeple also i know it is very important to delegate tasks. Mr price gave mi special course like customer service ,administration,transactions at cash desk ,financial wellness,accounts activation,applications,tools and trade,team work,organizing,planing,leading,monitoring and authorisation transactions Mr price every month give workes bonuses if they made target Most challenges is customer complaints and it is very importatant to keep yourself always calm if you want to resolve it

Excellent learning curve
Working for Mr Price was definitely an eye opener as I was exposed to fashion trends, learning to merchandise, operating a till point, promoting new company ideas such as emailing of purchase dockets to customer and a new till point called 'mobile point of sale' Working with such a great team gave me the opportunity to learn various departments of the store. The level of commitment was astounding as I was able to fit in and work cohesively with everyone. During the time of being head cashier I was given new cashiers to train and also teach new and old colleagues how to merchandise their departments. I love learning and teaching others as my manager taught me that one can't do everything by him/herself.

It's a good environment to be in,learning curve and the team is amazing to work with, but the salary is not enough.its an experience of a life time, I'll put my experience to good use.

Excellent company benefits
MRP insurance has excellent benefits to employees within the group. Within the division there is a lack of growth as positions that become available are usually given to external applicants.
Pros: The MRP group has employers since the last five years that have not been promoted irrespective of applications
