Passion for insurance industry.
I am directly responsible for ensuring that TV and Radio services are broadcasting at all times possible. Interacting with my fellow colleagues is fun and very interesting as one has to deal with different personalities and cultures throughout the shift. Attending to alarms, ensuring the correct escalation process is followed and also the correct SOP is followed ensure a good day. It is very stressful having to attend to many issues during a shift. I have learnt that I am in the wrong industry. During an aptitude test, it was found that my skills would suit the Sales Industry. This is what prompted me to seek employment in the Insurance Industry as a Technical person as this would maintain my technical interest as well. I enjoy being part of a team that understands what the goal is. The most challenging aspect of the job is being able to focus for twelve hours, ensuring no issues are missed.

I am always being my self in the workplace committed my self in my job and i am a reliable man for an emergency issues in the work place . the company must benefit from me as i choose to work the company and i have a good relationship with other people in the workplace and also to respect the workplace

Back ground
Im working as customer Service representative at Multichoice Dstv .Typical day would include coming in early to book a workstation and check your Inbox for any new developments, assisting customer with technical related decoder issues and accounts reconciliation, and decoders insurance claims and activation. - Your relationship with co-workers, its a very friendly environment where you easily interact with everyone even the management. What you have learnt : through out all my customer service experience I have learn to be positive minded and to focus on my Job, customer service industry can be very hard and you need to be calm and not take everything to heart. -What you enjoy most: i have enjoyed mostly team buildings and team competitions, I like challenges - The most challenging aspects of the job: dealing with Irate and swearing customers, having to work on weekends and holidays but it pays later.

Excellent learning Curve
I love Multichoice as a company and would have liked to stay longer as I enjoy working with people and the activities that takes place in order to grow us as their employees. Multichoice is an innovative company that has a huge room for growth, as a multichoice employee I feel I would have developed to the stage I want to see my self in the up coming years. Though due to challenges I feel I need to move to a different company that will cater for my growth as a youth with dreams that needs to be fol filed in a certain time frame.

Excellent learning curve and experience
It was great working at multichoice. I just felt that I needed to get a bigger challenge and a bit if more experience. I didn't see myself working at a call centre all my life. I need a challenge that I can face hands on everyday and enjoy it at the same time

Grea stepping stone
I work at multichoice.It's a high pressure environment and I had learned on how to adapt to pressure.I get along with my team members.I work well under pressure.I enjoy assisting customers and solving their queries.

I have learnt how to be patient with people
I assist customers with technical, mobile, billing, extraview &boxoffice queries. We are structured in teams so that it can be easy to manage us.I have learnt to be patient with people &customers. I enjoy when i am given the opportunity to look after various teams it opens me up to how to deal with difficult customers & having to resolve their queries immediately as I have all the necessary tools to do so.The most challenging part of my job is when i have to escalate queries due to system errors instead of resolving them @ first hand.

Excellent learning curve
we get to work and we either have a team meeting regarding our days work and we all work together to achieve our targets QA wise hold times as well as briefing if they is any problems with the service we are providing. i enjoy the culture and atmosphere is very pleasant they is no racial discrimination as well as we all work as a team to achieve our goals

Cons: working hours are excellent just looking to work a job which has a latest shift of 8pm
