Helps with understanding of customers and the brand
I'm currently employed as a customer service consult in high call volume inbound call centre by Multichoice, My duties are assisting in resolving customer queries relating to billing and technical , activating of new accounts ,data capturing, escalating to the technical department? Logging of all calls, generating sale leads, making outbound calls to customers to follow up on queries, loading of payment details, advising on billing and scheduling of adhock debit orders for customers, My skills are good time management, efficient, work well under pressure, multilingual , good with multitasking and work well under pressure.

Excellent learning curve lots of opportunity to earn extra money (incentive)
I had a wonderful time at the company,their work vision and mission wad one i could relate to.. They put their employees and customers first which is the best way to retain customers and keep your employees happy.. We had a open work station which allowed us to connect and communicate with each other,it was a family based environment. We would have imbizo where we would meet up as co workers and share the business vision and to celebrate our achievement as the business and we also had incentives for top performing employees and also year end function

Excellent working there
Maintaining sites, transmiiters,mast climbing antenna checks,measurements using ETL and spectrum analyser.Repairs and ordering spares and completing reports after maintenance.satellite receivers maintenance I have good relationship with my co-workers. I have learned to be confident and strong in this industry. Enjoying to make sure that the clients are happy by watching the channels at home. working on unpleasant weather.

I have gained excellent customer service experiance.
the working environment is excellent because you meet different people from different places. I get along with everyone around me.I have learnt how to adapt and stay calm under pressure, i have learnt on how to create solutions instead of escalating them. I have enjoyed the work environment. What is challenging in this work environment is working shifts,Handling calls correctly when its a busy day,i have adapted to the environment and it constantly changes, so i like change.

Impressive company
Multichoice it's a good company to work for because I have meant a lot based on controlling my anger towards the company not the company only but also in the outside world of the business and building rupaul .The nice thing about working at multichoice is that the is weekly/monthly incentives that motivates the employees to do more.the relationship with my co-workers it's amazing because you can be able to approach them when you have personal problems. The most challenging thing about multichoice it's punting when I say punting I mean selling an insurance and pricelock because you have a target to reach in a month and working hours that a very crazy
Pros: Multichoice has growth but you need to have a qualification because most of the post needs a qualification
Cons: Working hours are just okay.the problem is when you work a late shift knocking off at 23.00 you need to provide your self with transportation to home or to the rank

Eye opening for the my career
I came to MultiChoice as a intern for Industrial Engineering and I created a lot of relationship in the company and got involved in a many projects. I work very well with my colleagues and I've learnt BA and PM skills and methodologies. I enjoyed working as a BA and Process Engineer because I got to be in a lot of projects and also do improvements. The challenges were taking over other people's projects without having a solid foundation.
