Getting a new job
We deliver around KZN stores our duty as assistant is to offload the truck and load returns.making sure the stock is kept fresh and safe though it is a risky job because accident happens anytime on the road but we've been given no benefits or medical aids and no overnight allowance. We own no transport and we've been given not transport to work though we are scheduled early shifts 3:00AM OR 20:00
Pros: No promotion or salary increase
Cons: Long hours worked and either midnight or early morning from 03:00

Fast learning person
I am not afraid to be under pressure an i am an opportunist and like to work over times and I am not a bad person to anyone and I I've learned that communication is important in a working environment and I like to work with people

Excellent learning curve
I was the only receiving manager,. You have to start the day5 by sending an end of day report before going anything on the system. Receive deliveries, capturing invoices, responsible for good returns for suppliers

Very busy work environment with nice colleagues,i have learnt how to interact with suppliers and customers.I enjoy interacting with customers.Great opportunity for promotion.Good company values and culture.

Great experience
Though I am a finance studied individual, I learned a lot from the hospitality industry as I'm working in the bakery. I lent how to work under pressure and in a crowded environment. Made me more flexible, and saw myself as a fast learner.

Working at Pick n Pay is a such good thing because i like working with people
The Pick n Pay is a great company but i am looking for other organisation that has to do to what i studied and make the bussiness grow. I am willing to hard with any organisation that give me a change to prove myself
