I enjoys working under hospitality job because that is my career choice. We work very well with my co workers I am able to ask questions if something I feel like I don't know how is done. They will help me out if I don't know how something is done .I now know how to bake .talk to customers. How customers are being treated and also I've learnt how to cook different dishes. Baking and cooking. It is challenging not to know how to handle a customer complaints

Great exposure

Wonderful
It is the good company, it gives people the opportunity to grow and it has been the nice company you work for. The company gives its employees to help go to school and study further and give them the chances to be management, it has scholarships. It has has done lot of things for the employees. I'm greatful to work for Pick n Pay. But i need to start fresh and earn more money so i can reach my dreams.

Employee development is key
wish to apply for the advertised position I have worked as bop operator from 1999 and later in 2003 was promoted to brewing technician with sab newlands. In 2012 I joined pick n pay retail as receiving Data capturer and was promoted to receiving manager in 30 August 2014 , and later on 31 August 2014, assumed position of overall store management till 2020. I am in possession of diploma in human resources management in cput and later studied Nqf level 5 in supply chain management with the university of Pretoria.

Good learning curve
There's a growth within the company, and I have learnt a lot throughout the years, great mentors and trainings I received has made me a good leader that I am today. But the only downfall within the company is missing out on family matters and raising children in a stable home as we work holidays and weekends hardly have time for families.

Excellent learning curve
Hard work and being dedicated to what we do in our kitchen. Creating new dishes and to mix a bit of every culture in a dish. The kithen is a playground full of opportunities. and keeping the standard of the food excellent

Excellent working environment.
It is a great experience to work at Pick n Pay because they gave me an opportunity to create my motivation. On regards on a work day I work I work 8 hours a day of which it a good thing for I am a healthy human being and I'm flexible and energetic. The relationship between the coworkers and I is good For even though I'm at the trolley services department there is no underestimation gestures shown by the workers and what I've learnt in the organization is that I've gained much experience on how to interact with customers persay and interaction between me and the workers.

I got excellent customer services through pick n pay
I was selling cellphones and promoting them to the customers when we have special and also registering their sim cards. I was operating a till and processing bills payments, making sassa payments. Operating lotto machines, bokkings bus and flight tickets for customers. Also doing stocktaking to balance the stock. Changing price lable on our shelfs. Applications for tv licenses of customers. Giving explanation to customers about any promotion that runs in the store.
Pros: Training new people on how to operate tills
Cons: Working long hours during buzy days like monthend

General worker
I was not in my self beacuse it was not my position.and my relationship with my coworker was good but I did learn a lot how to work with the big company
