My role in compliance
My role as a compliance officer is regarded as watchdog in the Organisation because I constantly engage with the different business units to inform them about any regulatory developments and to remind them about the need to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. In order to change their mind set about how they view compliance, I always help them to understand why compliance and also point out the positive side and the benefits of compliance. Although my job is to protect the integrity and reputation of the company, I also acknowledge positive findings in my Compliance report and also indicate negative Findings. I take a proactive approach and devote some time at work to tracking new developments as they arise and identifying potential issues.
Pros: keeping upbreast with all requlatory changes that impacts the organisation and my life

Passionate about people and innovation
II am a seasoned HR Executive currently overseeing all functional areas of HR from a strategic , tactical and operational perspective. I have passion for developing and complementing new way of doing things. Making HR great again at the Executive table and creating a culture of employees feeling engaged and connected.

Establishing a new Department
When I joined the RAF I have to establish a new department that didn't previously exist. I enjoyed benchmarking and the development of new policies and strategies and the implementation thereof. Employees at the RAF are very friendly and it is great working with all of them, however there is a huge entitlement mentality, and the more the organisation give, the more the employees want. I have learnt that I am stronger than what I think and that I can do more than what I give myself credit for.
Pros: Organisation that pays very well
Cons: Strong unionised environment with minimum resources

Documents service o Arrange off-site storage booking (metrofile). o Do department visits and assessment. o Record all incoming mail on the spreadsheet. o Date stamp all correspondence received. o Process all legal documents; writs, summonses, courts notice, filling notices, notice of taxation, PAIA. o Prepare and scan document and put scanning stamp for acknowledgment. o Claim view. (All incoming mail). o Internal mail delivery. o Assist with documents/file retrieval

Coordinate project activities and ensure all project artifacts are documented appropriately. Update project plan. Assist in the compilation of project status report. Coordinate project schedules. Update project risks and issues log. Administer project risk evaluation and mitigation. Provide administration support. Organize meetings, workshops and Video conferences. Storage of project artefacts manually and electronically. Updates action registers & project registers.

Working for the road accident fund has brought a wealth of experience for me
I am a team player, so working with other colleagues has been a life long learning curve . over the years working at the fund, I have learnt to work hard, learnt to be dedicated and always go an extra mile. the most challenging aspect is lack of growth , and never getting challenged
