Fast and competent learner
I deal with paying outs of pension and provident funds. I communicate with clients on a daily basis, handling queries. we have a team based environment and we have to work well together to make sure that we all meet targets for the month. My communication skills have improvement and i have learnt how to work under pressure. It gives me joy when i have finalized a claim without any hassle. The best part about my job is that you learn something new almost everyday. The challenging aspect includes when Funds are liquidating and one has to explain to clients the process it takes before they can be paid out. It is challenging because these involve sections of the Pension Funds act that most people do not understand and clients start to think that we are just withhold their funds.

Excellent learning curve
My day to day duties entails, liaising with members of the fund i.e branch managers, sales managers and agents. My relationship with my clients is excellent as I start dealing with queries in the morning, attend meetings in the afternoon and make payments to disability members (ISP). I also draft retirement letters for all employees due for early, normal or late retirement. The letters should be drafter 3 months prior to their exit to the fund in order to source financial advisers who will guide them on how to invest their hard earned benefits. I really enjoy employee benefits industry and intend to grow in leaps and bounds as years progresses.

Great environment
Grworking at Sanlam is an opportunity the seniors are very supportive and also the co-workers are there to help each other the best part of iworking there for me is interesting with clients on a daily basis,you get to learn a something new every day which is really a blessingm work is the name of the game.

I’m pro-active, efficient a fast learner and self-confident individual who can work independently as well as in a divers team, I can work under pressure and also maintain a high degree of confidentiality. I have good planning and leadership skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines and be punctual. I’m exceptionally computer literate and have good command of the English language as well as writing and verbal skills. I’m an adamant worker, who wants things to be done well and without errors, but although my experiences and attractions with people, I have learned to take faults as a lesson and to learn from them. What your organization will gain from having me on board, is a dedicated life time long, who grabs challenges as they came and learn from experience. Through my interaction with different type people, I have learned to acknowledge and respect other people’s cultures and languages. Excellent people skills
I'm a very hardworking person,with self dicipline.I worked in an enviroment with a lot of colleages.I can work in team,I reach deadlines on time.I enjoyed my work interacting with new and diffrent people every day,the hardes part of my work was prospecting.Im a driven person and very organised.

Great company, great culture, very little room for growth
Fantastic company to work for, however there is virtually no room for growth if not an EE employee. Hours are great, and a large degree of freedom, however it is an extremely lean structure, thus there is very little support and growth.

Excelent learning
I work as a call canter agent, doing inbound calls and outbound calls, doing simple changes ( updating personal details of clients), assessing claims( making sure that all relevant information/documents are captured). I have a good relationships with client, as I always try to make clients happy and solve their problems, I leaned to be patient and also working in a team and alone.
Pros: I adapt very easily to change.
Cons: working with computor for than 8 hours without my glasses

I would learn something new every month.
Working at a Sanlam Blue Star has taught me independence and self evaluation. I get along well with my colleagues and I think its safe to say, we learn a lot from each other. As well as work well as a team. I enjoy having to learn something new and teaching myself new things. The most challenging aspects of my current job is having to train the rest of the team of new things I had taught myself.
