Its a great company and one learns a lot from it as they also have the inside courses and they helpful and assist in building one's career. All the employees are friendly and its easy to get along with the employees as they all very welcoming and are always willing to teach and educate new members. I have always enjoyed work as i know that if i don't know something or need clarity, there is always someone i can go to and get assisted, be it the colleague or the team leader who always makes sure that she is there for us whenever we need help.

Follow my passion
In a typical day in my last position I fulfilled management tasks of branch, as well as overseeing a staff of seven individuals. Throughout the day I completed various administrative duties as well, including answering phones, drafting documents and emails, filing and greeting customers. I also provided strong customer service and resolved customer issues. A transformational leader because of my passion for individualised consideration and intellectual stimulation, very much visionary which evolve around the importance of all employees to ensure efficient and quality service rendered. Highly motivated and innovative strategist with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives on teamwork and challenges

I've learnt how to treat clients, I've learnt so many good things
my work duties: firstly i answer incoming calls, i load incoming applications for medical aid on our system,I do follow up on application by calling schemes. I have a good relationship with my colleagues we respect each other I've learnt how to respect clients and how to be like in a work place. I enjoy working in a big company like Sanlam,i also enjoy to worker under pressure and to work with a big number of people that helps me to learn so many different things. To deal with client's complaints that's the only challenge i get at the moment

Typical day at work
A typical day at work is, is work in various team working on various processes and projects. my responsibilities is to provide my business with stats regarding out digital platforms and present the results. furthermore i should ensure all clients internal and external should be communicated of new improvements on our platform. i have good relationship with my co-workers as i do work with various teams within the business.

It gave me a great exposure
In the morning a plan the day activity: - Check head office bank account balance for investment. - Review the Trial balance. - Approve the accounts payable. - Prepare journals to be done. - Approve Business Integrator payments (e.g. refund or MM investment). - Review and sign journals for the day. I'm a team player and "I get along with my colleagues". Decision making. Having a successful month end. Being a leader.
Pros: Influencing business decisions (with the daily and monthly reports).
Cons: Working long hours.

Excellent opportunity to learn how resilient I am and how much I enjoy educating
I currently work in an independent environment. If I do not plan my time effectively, I do not get paid. My day consists of: - calling clients and following up on their current portfolio's - Planning my appointments - Following up on their medical requirements - Collecting medical reports - Meeting training requirements and completing assignments - Preparing quotes and drawing up reports documenting the advise I have given a client - Conducting a financial needs analysis per client - Collecting data to ensure that the FNA's are not over insuring the client I have an excellent relationship with co-workers. Sanlam teaches you the importance of looking after your well being. I enjoy compiling FNA's for clients and preparing the documents to present these needs to them. The most challenging part of my job is waiting for a client to provide me with documentation, or to receive medical reports from Doctor's PA's.

Cons: There isn't enough support to ensure that I excel in my role

Amazing
I work for Sanlam however they do not pay my salary as I was outsourced by a company called PLP. Nevertheless just working in the Sanlam building and getting to know the people that work here and how passionate they are about what they're doing here is quite rewarding in its own.

You learn consistancy, and integrity through hardships less productive months.
I'm a hardworking individual with dedication and massive potential. Always willing to help and learn in all possible ways, as i did and am currently doing at sanlam. Though i feel a bit exploited somehow as my helping hand and petential wasn't recognized at all. I always had a very outstandingly beautiful relationship with my co-workers, which I'll cherish for life. Sales is what I do, and always enjoyed most. Costumer service it has always been part of me, it's within my DNA.
Pros: Well, at least that's what I thought when i first i got there, but honestly it has never happend.
Cons: Long working hours to me it has been a problem, that's just how much i enjoy sales.
