SARS HRBP
I am an HR Business Partner at SARS. I am the face of HR for clients assigned to me in the organisation, I am assigned the Strategy Development & Analytics and Partnership Development & Analytics Divisions, my total client head count is 485 and growing. A typical day involves at least one MANCO Meeting where I am required to provide the HR Status and provide HR Guidance to anything discussed during the meeting. I am expected to be knowledgeable in all HR Aspects as I am the first line of HR Support to the business. I am also responsible for the roll out of multiple HR Projects that been designed for implementation by the various HR Centres of Excellence. I have learned that people management is a rather special role, when it comes to human emotion, no task is simple. As an HRBP the slogan I go follow is: "I solve problems that you never knew exist, in ways that you never imagined"

Project Coordinator
It was 2010 where sars and home affairs were introducing service manager, and we done well in introducing it to home affairs especially in the Borders .
Pros: I use to act as a Branch Manager in our Brach
Cons: we eventually work overtime where we assess and help taxpayers with all tax queries

Sars has its own unique challenges
At the beginning you will feel like you are on the edge as the perceptions about Sars put you under pressure. Perceptions are not needed in work places as they limit your skills. Once you start understanding Sars and acknowledging the importance and relevance of the institution, you manage to unleash your inner self. I am a typical early bird as I try to avoid traffic and it also gives me an opportunity to start my work early before my colleagues arrive, bringing the headline news. I relate excellently with my colleagues and we have the best team ever. I have managed to master the tender process, contract negotiations and drafting since I joined Sars. We have also managed to be involved with cidb regarding updates and upskilling. I enjoy tender negotiations and drafting. However, when support teams do not furnish you with the resources and the support you need it becomes difficult but it's within the terrain where you expect those challenges.
Pros: One always looks at the opportunity whereby one will face new challenges.
Cons: Deadlines create a scenario for long working which in return make you fatigued

Great learning experience
Employer of choice, broad knowledge good operating procedures. Fun environment to work at and good people to learn from.Opportunities when one works hard. Great incentives that take longer returns. Stability in business process.

Financial Exposure
It is a Privilege and honour to work for my current organisation. It gives me the exposure I need I my accounting. I also have the necessary Sap and Remedy experience. I am deadline oriented, have Planning and organizing Skills, Reporting Interpretation skills and meet the targets easily. I have written and communication skills and i can work under pressure and work in a team as well as alone.

Excellent leaning curve
Reporting to duty time was excellent and working environment is very good co-cokers good relationship with everybody What i liked the most at SARS is it in everybody to deliver good client service.and i enjoyed doing my best to make customer happy and all the challenges that i came across was a leaning curve and the experience i have gathered all the years im so equiped.

Open to training and development
I am forwarding my application with the believe of being a perfect and qualified candidate, though I do not possess all the requirements and experience, I believe that we all do require a starting point in life and it is my duty to combine my range of past work experience with the current one,also with my ability to make a positive contribution at your organization and be committed to continue serve the organization with pride and respect

Good organization
The people are great The work is good but tend to be predictable Learnt tax, finance, communication, how to deal with people. I enjoyed knowing that I am contributing to the greater good of our country

Definitly learn alot about the countries financial affairs
I am a very positive person and communicate well with my co-workers. I am also very submissive to authority. I enjoy working with the different department and learn a lot about their jobs, with the result of growing within the company. The one thing that i love is the challenging part if legal within the different types of taxes. Great working environment.
