My objective
My objective is to secure a position that will utilize my theoretical knowledge in Instrumentation Field and I am willing to grasp more knowledge and skills in the instrumentation field. Through my experience as been an Instrument/ Analyser Mechanician and the plant exposure I have done, I believe that I can be a productive employee of note.

Adaptable proven by diverse working enviroments
To work at Sasol is fulfilling, There a lot of growth opportunities. I have managed to attend a lot of internal courses, external course and do formal qualification. I have been promoted several times. A typical work day involves solving complex problems together with stakeholders. There will be deadlines, pressure and thrill. The typical week involves travel in and out of the town. I use time on the road to reflect and come up with new ideas. Relations with my co-workers is good. As an example, I still get consulted by people I led 10 years ago. From time to time they would call to bounce ideas or seek counsel. That humbles me a lot. I have also few people I am mentoring in my current role. I have learnt that collaborations is the best way to get optimal solutions and get buy in on the implementation. . Job well done brings fulfilment to me. The most challenging part about various roles i did is to deal with the necessary administration.

Multitude of learning opportunities
Great opportunity to be technically astute. Group Technology, unlike other OMEs has flexible working hours as long as you clock your 9 hours Monday to Thursday. The line manager is supportive.

Great company to work for
Great company to work for. Good for career advancement. Great opportunities. Challengebis that the area is rediculously expensive in terms of both renting and buying of property. Limited resources like good schools for children and other opportunities around the area. Company itself is good just the area it’s situated.
