Greetings.working at Sasol has given me a major experience and also experience working with different people,working at a live plant to me is more exciting and enegertic compared working on a turn around or shut down plant.ever since I started working at sasol I have never had problem with my colleagues and management,during my training we were rotating all the shifts which made me to be pro active and adapt quickly to work with new people it also helped me to know how to also be a good individual worker.

Working c Sasol is very interesting because they have a high standard in safety management and professionalism. I have learned a lot from the past years and I'm still growing day by day. I learned to manage my my projects without depending to somebody else. Challenges are there that make me grow.

Good exposure

Excellent learning curve
The company offers a great learning opportunity in terms of being a young upcoming engineer,I have learned basics of having to in leading my own projects such as having to conduct design reviews, concept study and HAZOP Studies, also I have learned the importance of including other disciplines when when having a project.

Multitude of learning opportunities
Great opportunity to be technically astute. Group Technology, unlike other OMEs has flexible working hours as long as you clock your 9 hours Monday to Thursday. The line manager is supportive.

Focused
At my work place we all understand each other, we laugh make jokes but we all know when it's time to work all jokes stop, iam very serious about my job I love it always wanted to work in this industry. I have learnt alot and am greatfull for it. In an chemical industry you have to always abide by rules... Safety is always first, all my co workers are at risk if something goes wrong. I take pride in my work.

My typical work day involves managing the scheduling, planning, and budget. Shutdown planning and execution. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers and other stakeholders, some I have very good friendships with. I have learnt a great deal in my current and previous roles, advanced Microsoft skills, emotional intelligence and many other skills. I fell in love with production planning that I feel I would like to develop in this field and carry on working until retirement. the most challenging aspect is predicting the future. But as is with many things experience is the best teacher.

Productive and good culture
Good learning exlerience. Had good working relationship with all clients and co workers. Happy working environment. Supply Chain management and people within Supply Chain great to work with and always strive for excellance. I have loved my time in Supply Chain Finance Transport and the people I worked with. Excellent teamwork and management. Very good Culture. Enjoyed each assignment and project given to me. Biggest challanges daily getting everyone on board and alligned, but with every challenge I can proudly say ended everytime with success.With Hard work ,dedication a good team and management, caring and motivation and trust. Finance is always a busy day, a typical work day.
