Able to adapt to any new work environment fast
A typical day at work involves working on front end aspects of new studies, viz. pre-feasibility and feasibility phases of a project. Interactions between all discipline engineers is required hence good relationships between co-workers is essential to the success of the studies. I have learnt a lot during my time at Sasol. I was initially involved in Plant Support, Optimisation and Project work and then moved on to focus mainly on project development from idea generation to execution. I enjoy the technical aspects of my job as well as the technical management aspect. I have had various discipline engineers reporting to me which enabled me to gain management experience. The most challenging aspect of my job is sourcing information that it not readily available which results in delays in the projects.

Great experience gained
Process safety is about the prevention of loss of containment resulting in releases that can result in fires and explosions. The experience was best and very informative.

Working inviroment
It is a great experience to work for my current company. There is a culture of learning and colleagues are willing to help if required. The work is challenging and has a lot to learn from. I have learned that team work is very important and you need to collaborate with other people from time to time. I enjoy working with people and learning from new experiences.

Learning opportunities
I have been able to move around and been given opportunities to learn quite a number of new competencies over the last 10 years. Sasol provides opportunities in various fields from Engineering to services. I have been able to build a strong network as you are expected to include SMEs in all you do.

A great company to learn and get experience

Sasol. Si have worked as a fitter and turner, at Gold's one, DibSibanye Good and also Golden .I'm currently working at Sasol as an ABET facilitator. Have worked for Media W Works as well as facilitator for different companies.leaf.asol, Good one
