capturing about 150 request for advances a day daily reconciliation following up on members queries team work dealing with difficult clients like going for inspections to different provinces

Good opportunity to learn discipline

It is good exposure to work with people from diffrent areas of the country. the relationship is good and we always maintain teamwork, i have learned discline and tolerence to others. this may include resolving differences. teamwork is my best moment. the challenging aspect is to reporting everything before you can try it. creativity is regulated.

Pros: great opportunity to apply discipline and comply with Professional Ethics

Great learning opportunity, I've been exposed to the audit field and learnt a lot. Working in the SAPS

I have learnt to work with harmony with my colleagues and learnt to be patient with them. Working together has helped us to fly higher the flag on the SAPS and do better each day. Working abnormal hours was sometimes a challenge but I have adjusted and enjoys it

Team Player

I have been work for Saps for more than 10 years. I worked at Csc for 5 years and moved from crime prevention to sector policing, crime office as a detective and finally Joined the North West Tactical Response Team for six years now. My job is not challenging anymore. Im currently a section commander doing managerial duties. So im looking for a challenging job.

Pros: In the TRT we do the same thing always.
Cons: There is lack of promotions and Money is not sufficient for person with responsibilities.A person cant but a car of a decent house with salary offered by Saps.

Immediate supervisors are mostly informative. If you are eager to learn you get to know a variety of jobs because of understaffing then we often multitask.

Your job os guaranteed unless you misbehave

Lonh working hours and company doea not value education, you remain in the same position even after successful completed qualifications. You get promotion after 12 years.
