The best company to work for,
A great company to work for. There are so many things to learn and to share with other people. There are different types of people and moving from one department to another give a best way to learn how to work with new people and to be able to fit in in whatever environment you find yourself in. The management always give the employees the opportunity to prove themselves by allowing them to make their own decisions when it comes to how to do their job best.

Investigating and analyzing the transactions that comes and goes out of the bank to determine whether requirement adhere to Standard Bank procedure by using BDS Financial System and Excel, Provide feedback and Weekly report

Great learning tools
A typical work day in the office was just that. Shift starts at 7h30 and ends at 16h00. During these hours we call clients who requests assistance from the bank and work through their applications either approving or declining their applications. Majority applications would be approved as the clients were in financial distress. Applications that ended up being declined would be where the clients are not in distress and living recklessly with their income.

Excellent learning curve
It a normal day with standup and daily closing up. I have a good relationship with my colleagues I have developed athe ability to anticipate,analyze and create solutions

It was a steep learning curve, but a great one.
Standard Bank Group sets the standard for high in the banking industry, its is also the largest bank in South Africa, it offers a variety of retail and commercial banking, corporate and investment banking, investment management. The bank gives out great oppotunities, like studying and uplifting people.

Bank Values
My company encourages us to live by and respect the 7 values. Most of the valued values are Serve our Customers being there in moments that matter to our customers. It has taught and encouraged me to always put myself in the customers shoes and value and appreciate that I have a job because the customer decided to trust my company. The other one is working in teams were I am able to see that by working together and pushing each other we achieve more. The other one is delivering to our shareholders - which always reminds me if I don’t perform the shareholders can easily replace me. And respecting each other has taught me to accept and have a good relationship with different people. And going beyond expectations teaches everyone to stand up in a crowd.

I feel that I'm growing every day as I learn a lot
Working with clients we face a lot of challenges as all our clients are different and they need to be treated differently. So having to adapt and constantly keep up to date with them that alone is a phenomenal experience.
Pros: Dealing with clients you get to learn them and become great by serving them with excellence that's when the company recognizes you and get rewarded and possibly promoted
Cons: Putting more hours to deal with whatever query and making sure everything goes right
