Excellent Culture. Great workplace policies. Opportunities to learn and grow
Work from home (remote work) is allowed. There are ample opportunities to learn and develop your leadership skills. I enjoy the great open policy culture where there is transparency about a lot of things. I also enjoy the benefits like discounts on home loans, car loans and various other banking products.

Excellent learning opportunity
I am goal driven who is not afraid of new environments and challenges, as I easily adapt as I learn fast and enjoy learning new skills, I am good with customer service, with highest level of integrity, I am enjoy working with team and alone, with my knowledge of finance I believe I can be the right person for this role, because these knowledge help in achieving the allocated Key performance areas , I always keep my personal development plan on check to make sure I achieve my target, so is my day to day activity are always on check to ensure completion of duties. And all this was proven by working at standard bank as it gave me an opportunity to test all that, which shows that it was a great company to work for, as I was allowed to learn and do best in my area of study.

My qualification in B-tech Agricultural Management, Management Development Program certificate, ACI certificate and 16 years’ working experience have given me exposure to professional job requirements. I am currently employed as Vanilla Plus Confirmations Manager within the Global Markets Operations at Standard Bank and my overall job purpose is managing a team of 13 people in ensuring that trade confirmations (IRD, FXD, Spot Bonds, Africa FX and Africa regions) are sent as per Service Level of Agreement, and I also engage with stakeholders to improve our services and ensure effective record keeping of agreements is reached. This role has accelerated my skills in Public Speaking, communication, and Presentations. I’ve also had a pleasure of serving as a Diversity and inclusion representative in the Global Markets Operations area.

Great company
Great company to work for and very good working environment. Room for growth is there but all dependent on managent. Promotions dont come easy no matter how hard you work

Customer centricity ,sales person ,decision making and self starter
Checking your emails at 6:00 in the morning to make sure tat you didn't miss any important information from the previous day .Checking all your appontintments to make sure that everything is in order .Catch up with the AE to make sure that you are ready for the day .Come back to the office to catch upmon emails and make sure that you are ready for the next day .

Exposure to various technologies
I have learnt a lot at Standard Bank Working with various application has given me exposure to multiple technologies. The working environment is very lively and vibrant. Working with people is great because you get to learn something from someone else, you can never know all the answers, so I have learnt that asking questions is very important. I enjoy working with people because everyone will bring a fresh perspective.

Exposure to the financial industry
Working at a bank now revolves around sales and generating revenue to keep your branch afloat. Teamwork is the heart of every success though some are rebellious. I have learnt about respect, values, customer service, following instruction and also compliance to avoid fines and penalties. I enjoy solutioning for customers nd giving them the best service which makes them leave the bank happy. Challenging aspect is achieving the targets because some customers don't want them and I am in no position to force them.

Learning Curve
Great relationship with co-workers. Learnt a great deal about banking telling, sales targets customer service and cash management. I enjoy helping people with their respective needs most challenging has to be generating sales leads.
