Working with a highly skilled and qualified GIS personnel. So far I have worked with a team in preparation for the Census 2021 project. My involvement in the pre-enumeration phase has allowed me to learn everything about Census because I was already involved in the last Census enumeration in 2011. There's a huge potential to grow because we planning for the first digital Census in the history of our democracy.

I have been the best performer in my section for the past few years

i have been working in this organization for the past 5 years and i have learnt a lot however I have become too comfortable even with the many initiatives i have come up with and i am looking for better and bigger challenges in my working area so that i can also have exposure in other areas

Challenging and excellent learning curve.

With the advent of clicks and cabals the cooperate culture is gradually eroding to an extent that most executives are resigning. Development has gone so stagnant that employees tend to register cause out of their industry to remain competent for other industries and dimensions for job seeking.

Pros: Offers a great deal of exposure, travelling and job security
Cons: No opptortunities for development and promotion.

When i was interacting with managers om a daily basis

I have learned how to compile financial statements, capturing of budget on the system, Advising budget managers with their budgets and expenditure. My relationship with my co-workers is so excellent. I enjoy working extra hours with no additional costs.

Pros: I am a hard working person and want to learn more about other companies

Stats SA is a cutting edge organisation that believe in continuous development of their staff. I have learnt how to carry out multiple tasks or projects at the same time. I have a flair for numbers and enjoy working with data. Maintaining strong relationships with a broad range. Interrogated, evaluated and identified gaps and further enhance deliverables. Most challenging aspects of my job is working with difficult respondents that don't want to complete questionnaire.

High pressure environment

Go to the office once a week to make phone calls and do necessary paper work Drive to different places to do surveys Meet with different stakeholders to do publicity and project awareness Completing logbook and maintaining vehicles Monthly reporting
