Field IT technician

Leads in my team, support and assist each other as team and also handle book stock. Managing sla's, setup eta's and make sure dont have repeat calls. Have learned to work on priority calls always make customers satisfied on my work

Pros: opportunity to learn more on different account manage and planning at Work and real life manage to work smart under pressure
Cons: work from 8 to 5

Excellent Learning

Attend calls daily before they meet SLA. Like the fact that I meet my clients and work one on one with them I find it easy than over the phone. Co-workers are great to do some work together to show great results at the end of the day, that is team work. I have gained a lot of responsibility and to keep time hence time is money so I do my best to manage it. I get to smile at the end of every call out I attend when I see our clients happy, It makes my days. Besides not having spares enough parts to attend calls I see not no other challenge. As long the communication with the management is great.

Cons: I do overtimes I do not mind

Expirance

working at TCM for a year and it has been a great year fun environment and good full of amazing people. The workload is just another one, sometime have to work till late, but then im one person that like working. The only thing that stresses me is there is no growth.

Dead end job

You are not valued as an employee You are just another payslip No growth. You dont see where exactly you are going, waking up everyday just to be mistreated like you have not done a lot for the company. Promotions are given to those of a lighter skin color or at least colored, I stead of a raise you get threats and get told you can always get another job and unfortunately it seems this place has a hold on you because as much as you apply, you get no feedback.

Learned and matured to other ventures while working at TCM

I work with a number of departments and always have to manage all escalations that arise in connection to the department. I then have to handle all from how the call is logged, handled and to which area it is to go. Upon that then deal with the Field managers to have the call being action-ed accordingly. Thereafter the are OEM support products that I evaluate and then have to report to the Executives and Services Director on a weekly basis. I therefore learn a number of functionalities of the cmpany and then build more team orientation skills in being involved with a number of departments. the only challenging part is when my department is understaffed as I have to cover a lot while also managing escalations.

Great working experience

I have been outsourced all these years to different companies which made me gain alot of different working experiences like Desktop technician, technical helpdesk , escalation management and a Duty Manager at MTN .

Excellent technical, solving issues

Monday to Friday job. Enjoy every little challenges of my job, meeting new people every day. Only positions are available for White, Indian and coloured people without qualifications and use those other people qualifications for contract once they get the contract they look for students to underpay them to do the job, train new staff then they get position without qualifications.
