I'm working in Telkom SA,as a maintanace and installation technician
on my own,I have been repairing switch mode power supply from T.V and other appliances,I think I will be a better candidate for the job,I did my diploma in 1997,though I was left with two subjects,I did finished the this year and all with distinctions,
Pros: It will give me more exposure in advanced electronics which I was doing on my own for many years and also something I learned at the university
Cons: I can work overtimes as is what I'm doing with my current company,in short I can say I'm a hard worker

Having opportunity for growth
Enjoyed engaging with customers and helping them with what they need. Had great supervision. With great colleges that will share information with you,help you where you struggling.and also become a better person.

Fast learner
AassAs a network technician I usually work 7 days a week with my co-workers where we have to assist each other as a team. My daily work is to connect Wi-Fi for telkom infrastructure to different customers with different ISPs. I have learned how to work with different customers but the challenges is when it comes to short tempered customers because I have to sacrifice to whatever they do to me or how they treat me

Excellent learning curve
I have learned quite alot while working there I developed skills and am able to work under any situations I am a very hard worker and can work even under pressure I am a very friendly person can interact with people and can be a good team worker I enjoy learning new things and experiencing new things

Great management support
Suitable working hours. Open door policy. There was no salary increases. Once you are scheduled for nightshift, you might be stuck on nightshift for almost a year. No opportunity to get a permanent post.

Worked at Telkom for 8 doing change management demand management and system analysis
For the past 8 years I have worked for Telkom in the solutions design space and have gained lots of experience doing change management, demand management and systems analysis

Excellent learning curve
I enjoy working with people and I communicate well with customers. I enjoy meeting the requirement of customers in terms of providing them with excellent service and insuring that the products which I offer to them are beneficial to their business
