For the past 8 years I have worked for Telkom in the solutions design space and have gained lots of experience doing change management, demand management and systems analysis

EXPOSED TO NEW TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS
A TYPICAL DAY:- START UP MEETING DAILY CHECK THE CUSTOMERS BASE ON EXCEL - THE TARGETS FOR THE DAY/WEEK/MONTH DISCUSS SALES TARGETS WITH THE TEAM DO ESCALATIONS AND FOLLOW UPS OF ORDERS FOR FIBRE/ADSL AND LTE DISCUSS BARRIERS CHECK THE COVERAGE MAP FOR FIBRE/ADSL AND LTE IN THE PORT ELIZABETH AREA RELATIONSHIP WITH CO - WORKERS:- GREAT TEAMWORK I ALWAYS SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE WITH THE TEAM WE SUPPORT AND ASSIST EACH OTHER WHAT I HAVE LEARNT:- I LEARNED TO BE PRO-ACTIVE AND TO BE PROFFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS AND KEEPING THE CUSTOMER INFORMED OF ANY NEW PRODUCTS AS WELL. THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECTS OF THE JOB:- WORKING TILL 20:00 AT NIGHT - CAUSE THE CUSTOMER ARE ONLY AVAILABLE AT THAT TIME. THE TURN AROUND TIME OF INSTALLATIONS FOR FIBRE/ADSL AND LTE

Being able to implement my skills
I work monday to sunday, weekend off weekenf in. I work well with my team and we share ideas on how to make more sales and dealing with the customers. I have learnt on how to deal with customers with different personalities and how to be a problem solver while im trying to mske a sale. I enjoy on working with my team and dealing with different customers everyday. The most challenging aspect with my job is dealing with rude customer but in the years working there I've learnt on how to change those changes in to opportunity.

Fast learned hard worker
I have studied health & safety and Project management at UCT. I have been doing health & safety at Telkom SA for more then 16 years. I started as a health & safety officer then in the health & safety committee that was dealing with all H&S guide lines , incidens, accident s and near miss. I am very passionate about the safety of people because we only have 1 life. I believe that the guide lines also protects the companies against unnecessary law suits. I am sure that I will be a very good asset to your company. Regards Cedric

I am looking to improve my position, grow and better my career skills, opportunities for growth. I have good interpersonal skills I have been working in the retail industry for since matric completion, I have done part time courses in between the course of my employment

Having opportunity for growth
Enjoyed engaging with customers and helping them with what they need. Had great supervision. With great colleges that will share information with you,help you where you struggling.and also become a better person.

Excellent learning curve
we work 5 days of the week. we also work over time if required. we work as a team in an office enviroment. we plan the installation of metro ethernet equipment.

Excellent
I work 5 Day a week (Monday to Friday) from 7:30 to 16:30 I have good relationship with the current employer, they pay for my studies give support, study leave and supporting document and facilities. I have Build a good relationship with different management department in the organisation, Learn more about what are they doing and now I have better understanding of the organizational goal and how to work on achieving the goal. The challenging part in the organization, I experience is by the time the organization was going through the cost saving process, and we could not have the equipment to conduct training while on the other hand they expect us to deliver. But we as a team we challenge management team and made them aware that we could not run and training or project without any budget, then after some time the funds where made available to the division .

Exceeding expectations
Great company to work for. Excellent working hours. I worked well with my co workers. They were family to me. Typical work day was work work and fun later but work came first that's what I liked about Telkom. I miss my friends. I have learned a great deal about culture. Respecting one value working in a team. I enjoyed most was management level they respected us and always found time to talk to us. The most challenging aspect of my job was customers. Must be very attentive and rational with our customers.
