I'm currently responsible for maintenance of11kV /6.6kV substations and transmission lines, And 3kV DC traction substations. I also worked worked on SAP sytem for budgeting and buying of maintenance material. I also acted as a production manager, so this gives me confidence that I can be the best candidate for this position.
Pros: Great exposure to heavy current engineering
Cons: forever in meetings than doing actual work.

Business networking is what is shapes my career. I enjoy hearing what HR challenges other sectors of businesses face, and how they overcome them. I have learnt and now have a new view of the Human Resources partner's role. The most challenging aspect of my role, is the process of training needs analysis and drawing up of the training plans.

Excellent Transport and people's management skills.
I have previously worked for various large organizations, specializing in Transport operations management for more that fifteen years. I'm currently employed by a state owned Logistics company, which covers almost every transport mode; from Rail, Road, Sea and Pipeline. My focus is mainly support services which includes Fleet management and procurement of fleet related services. I manage a variety of fleet related aspects, that ranges from traffic fines, licensing, fleet and material disposal, route planning and personnel training. I enjoy communicating and interacting with my co-workers from different levels, and facilitating AARTO lessons to staff members. The most challenging aspects of my current job is to get senior management to sign-off repairs expenses, and get them to release PR's on SAP system.
Pros: There are so many growth opportunities within the organization.
Cons: Working hours are standard unless there's an emergency; but there's too much travelling involved.

Broadern my horison , add value to your company
Transnet is a good company currently in the financial downturn not good opportunities , it helped me grow into the manager I am today. I was exposed to lean six sigma , Quality , Customer service and Logistics. with the small business I had opportunity to work in all departments in the last 10 years .

- Working for a highly unionized environment creates challenges, and one has to be always abreast of recent developments, especially the current Employment Relations and Skills Development landscape. I have learnt that it is not about how much you know only, but how do you share what you know with others, as a way of empowerment and making sure that every one is on the same wavelength regarding business. -My company embraces the culture of respect and dignity, good ethics, agility, digitalization and good communication, and that is the order of the day. Understanding that "respect" is hard earned, I always respect people and their opinions, so that I am getting that in return.

Professional stock controller with good experiences
Every morning start with inventory count, to make sure the stock in the store is correct and every person is doing theire job correct. Control the material that come in and leave the store everyday. To work with the receiving people to make sure the right product and right quantity is received. Make sure the Pick & Packers pack the right material for the production line. All the paper work is done for the day, all the material is received on the system, all the items are issued out on the system. All the paper work is signed and filed away. What I have learned the most is that every person from different departments need to work together. I enjoy working with people and getting the work done. The most challenging part of the job is getting the material out on time and keeping the production line happy.

SD initiatives depending on the value duration and nature of the contract.
My job involves receiving requests from sourcing from all national seeking on weather or not a contract will have opportunities for SD.i will then do my market analysis putting into consideration the nature of the commodity, value, duration also weather or not we have local suppliers who can give us services of that nature. My recommendation will then be based on my analysis and advise accordingly. we have team spirit. most of my colleagues are very generous with giving guidance requested they trust my work and i have proven numerous times that i can deliver
