Excellent learning path
Working at University of Johannesburg is great because the growth path is there and you can branch out into our opportunities the Employer has.I'm currently working as a Test lead with 5 contractors reporting to me, we work in an Agile environment and i'm doing both Software testing and Business analysis task, i also do lots of demos to Business , run meetings and get requirements from them too, write users stories on TFS board. i like their benefits they offer and the fact that they encourage Employees to up skill themselves. i'm currently learning how to do automation and hope to automate one of the projects i worked on and i'm also learning how to be a Scrum master.
Pros: You can expand your career and branch out to other opportunities,you get to define our own career path,you get half day monthly, you get bonus, your contribution on the work you do is visible to all as we are a small Team,We encouraged to be innovative and come up with fresh ideas all the time,
Cons: Production support can lead to working after hours

Excellent
Am a hard working person.., enthusiastic, and am willing to learn and open to new technical advances. All my previous employees were satisfied with my work, the only thing which made me upgrade was the fact that I wanted to further my education.

Research and teaching experience
I spent my normal working days engaging in Independent research and teaching activities for undergraduate students. I built networkswith colleagues within my department and outside my department and I was able to coordinate a successful research leading to scientific research outputs. I believed with good teamspirit we can solve any problem. I enjoyed sharing and impacting knowledge. One of the challenging aspect is managing the different abilities among my students always proved difficult but gratifying

Excellent learning
Analytical thinking and problem solving. Learning and processing new information quickly, analysing problems and exercising sound judgment. Setting high performance standards for myself, and exceeding them. Exciting but limited scope
It gives me drive on a daily basis to give people advise and offer service they mostly nee. I work in harmony with my co-workers. I have learnt that if you want to enjoy your work and reach your targets; the work environment should be a pleasant place to be. I enjoy finding fulfillment in my work and talking to all people with a smile. The constraints of not having proper tools to perform my duties like computer or a laptop.
Pros: Great opportunity for growth as in the business and myself.

Excellent.
UJ has been a good place for one to develop competency, learn the dynamics of work environment but most importantly it offered me an opportunity to realise my potential. I personally believe that I have played my role at the institution and as a result it is now time to grow elsewhere. I initially started as a volunteer at the human resource department then moved to an academic setting within Education faculty. The transition wasn't easy but I have learnt so much. My colleagues are very supportive and though at times we disagree they have taught me the power of consciousness and believe, and controlling one's Destiny. I enjoy interacting with with fellow colleagues from different organisations as this where knowledge is gathered.
Pros: Excellent opportunity to build ones competency
Cons: Not being a permanent employee as a result not receiving benefits.

Amazing lesson
It was a very nice experience as I dont work there it was just a year contract as a house committee which I was responsible for treasury for the residence. It was very amazing as it made me to socialize more with people and get to learn more about different personalities
