I use to work for Woolworths for about 15 years. The company allows self development.
I am still willing to share what I have learned from my previous employer and gain knowledge from the company that will see the need of giving me another chance of life. Mostly I have learned many things about my self in many ways and about how to work with many different people. It is when I or my team meet the deadline, it makes everyone happy. It when I or we struggle to meet the deadline due to people not getting along due to their personal reasons.
Pros: Rewards those with long service.
Cons: Working on public holidays.

Hard worker
Working in Woolworths taught me to work with different people and how to handle them under the circumstance. I enjoy working with people because you get to build relationships. When you work retail you get difficult customers which you have to handle them and make sure the live the store with the smile because of the service you give them. I have came to the store with no experience but now I have learned. The most things that I enjoyed it's being recognized in the store for marking sales and for good customer service because most important thing at Woolworths it's world class customer service. You get to new people. Our store it's a good company where you get opportunities and grow your self in the company.

Great learning experience
Itit was great experience working at woolworths king shaka airport but with the contract I had with them had led me to leave the job because I maintain travelling fees

Excellent experience
It is rather nice to work there. It has a friendly environment and has the taught me many aspects as to how to deal with customers and customer relations. This has been an excellent learning curve.

Energy
A typical working day is taking care of customers.I have a great relationship with my colleagues. It is very important to get along with the people you work with because it make working a pleasure. I enjoy working with customers because I learn so much. What is challenging is the long hours I work.

Survival experience
Standing the whole day Washing dishes Im cooking for long hours morning till late 19:30 I have a good team work with my colleagues There is shortage of staff so we are only 2 working in a day one has to live at 4 the other at close the shop late meaning remains to wash the stoves and tne floor alone before go home Before leaving the manager come to check if it is clean, then thats when you can live

Learning curve
I believe I have relevant skills, qualifications and experience for the position I am applying for. I am able and capable of learning quickly and I will also contribute in making the company more successful. I am a friendly, polite and honest person who is open-minded to new ideas and influences. I have a curious character and therefore am eager to learn new things and am interested in the people around me. I am communicative and I like to involve others in projects and creative ideas. I expect to learn about myself. I think will gain confidence and become more self sufficient as I will to create a home away from home. I am not afraid for challenge and I look forward to a new adventure and am open for every new experience. Not only do I expect to learn from the program itself, but also from the people from many cultures and can hopefully teach me values that I will carry with me for life. I hope that possibility exists for me to join your company.

Excellent learning and development
Excellent learning, good in training its employees,good values, excellent employees relations. Good working environment, good HR structure. Top management very supportive. Working hours allows me to spend time with my family hence I work one weekend per month. I have learnt how to appreciate the contribution made by my team and the company staff on training and development. Woolworths has a lot of administrative work, this is a challenge but workable.
