Woolworthsis a great company to work for and gives one a great opportunityto grow in the business and gain a lot of experience. A vibrant place to work with great leadership from different cultures and with great professionalism and friendly employees being led by excellent leaders.

Growth and development
I have experience in all sectors of retail from administration,operations,food business and clothing business.In my entire experience I learnt to take ownership and to deal with issues immediately as they arise.I also learnt that in retail you have to lead people from the front before they do something demonstrate to them how it is done so that they can do it right the first time and in so doing they have confidence in you.In my current job I get to communicate a lot with customers most of the time they want advise on an outfit that they will like to buy.I will choose a perfect outfit for them based on their body type,skin tone and the current market trends.

Great For fastrack development and
Great opportunity for development,work well with peers there is good working relationship and the culture with I. The professional environment is what keeps you coming back and the organisation is guided by there ogerisational values Customs,work ethics and this becomes your way of life . It's really a great evioment to work In as there are clear objectives In place and communication Chain across the different leave is of a transpant one. Also the fact there there is a "open door policy and custom within the environment and that allows too. For Innovation and newness . Also the zero tolerance for poor customer service is what keep you customer orientated

Salary
It's a great company to work for but I'm not happy with the salary and long hours regarding the work we do and being under pressure because of being short staffed.It's depressing and tiring to as a human being

I learn ,listen as a beginer then steep progress and i plateau on my work.
-The days are different but i dont take my home emotions to work,especially the bad ones. -working as a team is what i prefer though i can do my work on my own . -I've learnt how to treat customers and focus on my duty stuff . -face challenges and ask if i don't understand because we learn every day and indivitual i can't have all answers but as a team we can make it . -working with who don't take their job serious .

Excellent learning opportunity
I worked for a month. They paid under the belt R2000-R3000 a month. I left because of that. Otherwise there's positives within induction of the company. Well established and structured company with professional speakers. Writhing working environment, from back it's upside down, untidy and not organized. Line manager, need more training on how to work with their workers. There's too much to deal with so production can be effective.
Pros: None while was there
Cons: There's too many shifts with different stuff and of course changing of managers when changing shifs, hours are less so does the salary end of the month. That's a negative impact towards others who need money like I did. 26hrs a week doesn't work for us all.

To manage the early morning / end of day team to ensure accurate receiving and replenishment of stock, management of accurate stock accuracy, preparation of the food market for early morning / end of day procedures and contributing to the execution of operational excellence within the store . Responsibility Pack out back-up stock Remove waste from the shop floor and back-up areas Replenish stock (including date and stock rotation) Verify temporary out of stock Place correct tickets according to out of stock items Maintain shop keeping and Foods Supply Chain disciplines Conduct accurate temperature checks

Great to work in the company
We working under pressure but the basic salary is so low. And we working different department.and management is not cooperating wwith us the not doing anything to help us

Accurate Picture:
calls logged via help desk gets delegated and assigned to us in which we attend to within a 3 day SLA We are a team of 11 each with different responsibilities but the tickets to get rotated we do get on the job training such as the HP training and the windows 10 training i enjoy both aspects of my job, the software installations and the hardware repairs the most challenging aspect is keeping withing SLA when awaiting parts from the vendor
