I like to great you with respect, my name is Goodenough Thabani Mngomezulu from Jabulani (soweto). I was working at woolsworths 2016 and it was my great experience because i ike to overcome and solve things as i was doing tourism at college with Client servecis and humans Relation in SA. Great learning curve and also gaining experience.
The overall experience has been great up until now, however I personally feel that we are underpaid, especially us early replenishes because what we do requires a lot of physicality.

It's a no work no pay policy
The working environment is amazing the colleagues are awesome....its the working hours and the salary that is not so okay....the standing for long hours is not bad,but atleast the cashiers in the clothing department should also get chairs,because on a not so busy day you feel the pain of standing for the whole day

Good learning environment
TThe work place is clean and good for everyone There is no sort of racist actions with in the work environment and There is a good relationship amongst all the workers unless there's a personal issue or conflict between the workers I have learned alot like working e, extra hard with different people and without any sort of reward for doing your tasks in the best way I enjoy none much than to complete my tasks in time and use free WiFi The most challenging aspects of the job are that u can do extra tasks and not get compansated for that and dismiss late that its even hard to find transport to take u home safe BT end up walking home after a long day of hard work Woking Days are more and 2 day to rest

Cons: Dismissal time is bad ...Hard to find Transportation after work ,More tasks are added without discussing that with the workers

Learning lots of things
I have gain a lots from the company things like customers needs how to keep them happy and make sure they buy the product you need to know your products represents what you are selling

A learning experience
Clear calendar mapping out future tasks simplified life. An impactful learning experience, for design skills and soft skills all round. Juggling numerous tasks was a daily challenge, but achievable with time management.
Pros: Great for learning holistic retail process.
Cons: Potentially long hours, and juggling compound tasks.

Homeware assistant
As a homeware assistant i use to come in at 8 in the morning and first thing i do is to receive the stock that has come in the morning also detail check the stock that has come in. Then after that move the stock to the department and unpack it to the shelves also assist customers while unpacking the stock. The stock that is not unpacked is moved into the stockroom and packed neatly into the stockroom. Also take stock from the stockroom that needs to be replenished. Also assist customer in the food market.

Excellent learning curve
A typical day at work is like going to your second home and meeting up with your other siblings but this time to work for our own personal growth.Ii have learnt that regardless of our backgrounds and differences ,we all human and we all have a purpose and a huge role to play in other peoples lives

Good working environment
I'm happy with Woolworths but now I need something new that will challenge me and willing to learn new things and skills. I'm very loyal person and dedicated person. I'm a receiving clerk at detail check department, check if the stock has discrepancies or not while we receiving local supplies. I've learned that communication and commitment is much important when you're dealing with stock from suppliers.

Company policy driven, lack compassion and management abuse authority and process.
Double standards contradicting company policy of integrity and misrepresentation of valuesDouble Dstandards. Stores lack recognising within staff.managment uses authority to own advantage and ,........,............. ..........personal gain
