Good company to work for but the is no chances of growth as a person or a worker in their company
It's a rotational shift type of work and we work 7.5 hounds a day We get along with our senior management and as workers we work as a team with our colleagues I leaned time management and the use of rd scanners I enjoyed our way of doing things with our managers we work as a team with our colleagues
Pros: No chances of growing within the company
Cons: half day and 4days a week

Excellent learning curve
current position. To manage the early morning / end of day team to ensure accurate receiving and replenishment of stock, management of accurate stock accuracy, preparation of the food market for early morning / end of day procedures and contributing to the execution of operational excellence within the store . Responsibility Pack out back-up stock Remove waste from the shop floor and back-up areas Replenish stock (including date and stock rotation) Verify temporary out of stock Place correct tickets according to out of stock items Maintain shop keeping and Foods Supply Chain disciplines Conduct accurate temperature checks

Busy day at work, Learned to be very patient and yet fast and accurate at the same time
Great opportunity to gain customer service experience yet favortism in promoting staff. Challenging part is dealing with unhappy customers and not having authorty to deal with their complaints

Excellent learning experience
Superb quality and excellent Superb quality and excellent prices. Working hours OK have more family time. No 13th cheque in the company and that is the only downside. Best in customer service. They are more customer focused than staff management don't stay to long at one store. Every 2 to 4 years you go to another location. No car allowance no petrol allowance. Only salary and when u on standby for alarm calls u get petrol money. .

Customer services
work of weekend but we don't have overtimes, we have team work, If you want to grow in the business you must be passionate and the willing to learn more, to develop myself, i came in the company as till operator food market i then develop myself to customer service tills and again I'm now sign off by connect counter and at the same time I'm helping at the shoes department. the challenging is when the customer need the size while the store did not order more, yes the customer must know me by my name and even me i must know my customer by their names and it feel so special to them.
Pros: yes we have the promotion in te store so tha our customer can save while the are shopping
Cons: we work 40 hours per week so i think i not long ours

Day to day running of the admin office and cash office
Typical day is answering phones ,check if all the staffs clock in and out are correct for the previous day make sure there are enough supplies for breaks make sure each manager have a shift template for all their staff to do changes if needed capture changes ,phone supplier to check when items will be in store. Check Give floats to cashiers and drop at the end of the day run back office log a call if there are transactions hanging

Update internal operation procedures document as needed 2. Coordinate with Manger to schedule team meetings and to provide follow-ups 3. Support the Manager in managing and resolving operational issues. 4. Work with Manager to provide excellent customer service 5. Store, file and retrieve corporate documents and reports as and when needed. 6. Order, store and organize all office supplies 7. Perform general office administrative and clerical duties 8. Reconcile payments and receipts to various parties on time 9. Manage all office orders on regular basis. 10. Maintain logs and spreadsheets for all office activities

Excellent work experience
Woolworths is a great company to work for especially if you an entry level employee. You get to learn a lot from how to to behave professionally and how to treat customers . We are groomed properly and the benefits from the company are also good..
