Learnt alot in the retail banking space
I enjoy working with people. I like to handle responsible duties that are challenging & rewarding. Most of my colleagues consider me a creative person due to me looking at my problems differently & producing various solutions. I am capable of adapting to new situations & I am friendly, eager & willing to learn. Should I be placed in a position that meets my capability, I am sure that I will be more than competent in executing my duties. I am conscientious, hard working & goal directed. Good company
Work Mon-Fri 08h00 till 16h30 Very friendly environment Hard work, not for a lazy person. Oppotunities to learn in many different roles Takes care of their employees. Strict on company values.

Fast learner and adapt easy to new environment
I work in a branch, I face customers everyday and it is challenging @ time but with the support that we give each other as colleagues it becomes more easy to deal with everything that comes your way.

Excellent learning curve and Training
Having joined the team with no banking experience , I have really enjoyed learning how the world of banking works. Coupled with my experience in procurement and supply chain I manage to emerge victorious in the task that we're assigned to me. Being in volved projects and managing suppliers were some of the challenges that I came across but my experience helped me to manage my work properly.Implementing processes and conducting training to stuff members were some fo the duties I took and did well.

Good learnibg curve
ABSA is a good company that I would recommend to people who are starting their careers.It offers plenty learning opportunities at a starting level.Currently I am a reconciluation administrator.My passion lies on Marketing of which job opporrtunities in that field are not availble within the company.I mostly interact with my collegues and work on reports that need my individual attention .I find mininum opportunities to get promotion within my unit and long hours to be most challenging.

Shows room for growth and an excellent challenge
.Im currently in my third year of studies towards a BA LLB Law degree, which I intend to fuse with my FICA knowledge to grow in the AML field. I have four years KYC experience from working at KPMG and Absa Middle Office as a KYC Quality Assurance Analyst/Administrator, with extensive Client On-boarding and Remediation knowledge. I also have qualifications in IT as Im detail-oriented and enjoy new technologies. With my education and experience Im looking for an opportunity to utilize my KYC/FICA knowledge to grow towards a career in AML.
