its always been busy clients coming in to open new account we are three consluants we work well together we understand each other we help where we can. i have learned that we need each other to progeress in life and taking chances is good i enjoy assisting the client it gives me great pleasure .

Learning new ways of working from other companies/environment.

Good learnibg curve
ABSA is a good company that I would recommend to people who are starting their careers.It offers plenty learning opportunities at a starting level.Currently I am a reconciluation administrator.My passion lies on Marketing of which job opporrtunities in that field are not availble within the company.I mostly interact with my collegues and work on reports that need my individual attention .I find mininum opportunities to get promotion within my unit and long hours to be most challenging.

Service orientated environment.
I enjoyed working at Absa Pension Powered Home loans. Servicing the clients was my ultimate goal. Teamwork helped me maintain my targets. There was always a positive attitude in the office environment. I played hard I worked hard and had fun at the same time. I decided good interpersonal skills. Lots of training on offer. Applied for a bursary to study towards my BCom degree. Good personal development was encouraged. The most challenging was trying to get credit to approve the loan for the client when the credit history seemed impossible.

Excellent learning experience
Working at ABSA was a tremendous experience. In the 6 months being there I have experienced great staff interactions. We took inbound calls on short term insurance which could get hectic at days when we have bad weathers. I enjoyed the work experience the most ad I was no so much exposed to the inbound insurance environment. The challenge faced was abandoned calks and SLA dropping due to high call volumes and short staff
