Opportunities for development
Good corporate culture and working at the African Bank has provided me with opportunities to further my studies. The people are great and majority of them understand that we are a team and we have to work together to achieve company objectives. Over the years that I have worked for the company I have learned a lot about the financial sector and how it operates. What I like the most is the fact that I am allowed to use my natural talent of coaching people for development purposes. The most challenging is the fact that no jobs are guaranteed as the company strategy changes constantly to meet the investors objectives and the ever changing compliance requirements. Also there is a lot of people with years experience in senior positions and they are not willing to move anywhere, which lead to promotions being limited. Most managers are resistant to change or new ways of doing things.

Love my job but not the rewards
I am worth much more and would like to work for a company that remunerates accordingly and offer excellent benefits! I love people and interacting with influential decision makers. I am very limited in this regard in my current job.
Pros: Realizing peoples dreams and aspirations by matching our products to their needs.
Cons: Remuneration and rewards system is not in line with those of our direct competitors.

I am hard woring person who likes to work in a team whos's passionate about his work.
I sit with staff while thet assist clients to see if they do the right things.I aslo beleive all staff should be treated,developed equally.We have coaching sessions with all staff,the relationship is as good as best.

It's very nice and friendly environment to work at African Bank my dai;y work include Review of loans and approval,making sure everyone in the branch folllow company policies and procedure at all times,opening and closing of the branch.I amalso 2ic at work, my relationship with coleagues is very good.I have learned a lot of things like writing assessment on fraud,anti money laundering,nca and product knowledge.What i enjoy most is my work and the most challenging aspects of my job was getting my FAIS Certificate (RE5).

Human resources career
Work day: handles outbound calls ,assist clients with applications ,attend to grievances of clients ,direct clients to relevant department. Relationship: we work as a team share the same goal and assist each other in where work seem challenging we work as family. I have learnt that team work is the way to carry out a task effectively and that communication is the key to everything Mostly I enjoy the interaction between me and my team. The challenging is to reach targets while there's no outgoing calls.
