I started at checkers in 2014 on 2015 they make me superviser
I am a good worker with excellent experience in leading and working with a team, I got experience in dealing with deferent customers and suppliers, I always make sure that I finish my task on time, I always look for improvement in every project that I am given.
Pros: the company got great opportunit to promot people and give them the experience
Cons: only the suppervises and managers that work long hours

Excellent worker
I love my current work, i was working as a controller in the fresh food department, what i love the most is was working with my staff we work good together i learnt alot what to do and not to do, i learn respect most important, i enjoy working with clients and people.

Driven by success
Working in the retail industry is no childs play. I've learnt to be as tough as a nail yet flexible and assertive I've.learnt discipline,respect,how to separate work from feelings and how to grow and inspire a workforce of over 300 staff members. How to be a leader and not a boss...a company is is building..It's the staff that needs to know your vision..your service and believe in it...

Learnt more about customer service
Customer service,some customers expect things to come their ways....some are very difficult.If they don't favour you,you won't grow,you will stuck in the same position

Gained experience
I'm not happy with my salary although I gained a lot of experience.l love my work most.even if the work has a pressure I can not feel it because co-wokers always easy people to talk to.

Managing day to day unplanned challenges in retail environment
Starting the day off @6am and doing floor walks to ensure that the night shift staff prepared the store as instructed. Ensuring that the store is cleaned and ready for business. Service area staff prepare their various departments for trading. Check on maintenance ,safety,security,staff and shop any issues that may have arised over night and resolve before start of business. Work closely with the vaj Prepare to open on time and ensuring that our customers have a wonderful and pleasant shopping experience. Work closely with all concerned to achieve the set goals

Learned how to continuously matain hygiene and much care to customers.
Loading and offloading trucks, cleaning stock room on daily basis, helping merchandisers find the right stock for customers, picking and packing stock in the warehouse, assisting in counting the stock that comes in daily and helping bulk buyers counting as well as taking out the stock.
Pros: I have learned to interact well with customers as well as keeping hygiene first.
Cons: More load of work in the last honours of the day.

Excellent in learning new thing, fast to learn
From my previous job I worked five days a week sometime six days. My co-workers we were like friends, respecting one another. The most important thing I have learnt is to work with customers . I enjoyed the relationship I had with customers , spending time helping . Most challenging aspects of the job is when working slow.

Excellent learning
I was working 8hours everyday at checkers as a general worker and we where working under supervision,working as a team and if there's something we don't understand we ask our manager or supervisor to come and assist.I have learnt a lot doing all the job in the store,cashier, packer,fruit and veg assistant and deli.ive enjoy being a cashier a lot,talking with customers and calculating money.The most challenging aspects is when a customer vent her anger and the only thing I do to deal with the situation I call my manager to come and solve problem.
