Managing day to day unplanned challenges in retail environment
Starting the day off @6am and doing floor walks to ensure that the night shift staff prepared the store as instructed. Ensuring that the store is cleaned and ready for business. Service area staff prepare their various departments for trading. Check on maintenance ,safety,security,staff and shop any issues that may have arised over night and resolve before start of business. Work closely with the vaj Prepare to open on time and ensuring that our customers have a wonderful and pleasant shopping experience. Work closely with all concerned to achieve the set goals

Excellent learning
Strong characteristic person with the ability outshine in every different aspects of life. Very enthusiastic person as the same time highly motivate, with strong personalities. Good strategic appreciation and vision ,leader and diplomatic, hard worker person .

Excellent in learning new thing, fast to learn
From my previous job I worked five days a week sometime six days. My co-workers we were like friends, respecting one another. The most important thing I have learnt is to work with customers . I enjoyed the relationship I had with customers , spending time helping . Most challenging aspects of the job is when working slow.

Excellent service experience
It very nice to work with people who understand what you want in life who also encouraged you to go after your dreams especially my one of my supervisor she is a good team leader who always tell us that we must not settled for less she always tell me that I must go to school and further my studies and I take her advice now I'm about to complete my business administration course and I have gain lot of experience such as how to handle difficult customers. And how to give excellent service to them.

Excellent Learning curve
Its been great working there ,I get along with everyone ,the most thing i like the most is to help customers thats bring joy to myself, I've learnt to interact with different kinds of people, I also learnt to work under pressure.

Excellent learning curve
started off as a cashier and worked my way in various admin departments within the stores of Checkers. cash office clerk, data capturer, pricing and stock ledger and receiving admin clerk. was given the great opportunity to become trainee manager and on completion , was appointed as branch admin manager. it has been a pleasure to work for a growing and dynamic company. there is also great demands as working longer hours including public holidays and sundays can tire one self.

Excellent learning
I was working 8hours everyday at checkers as a general worker and we where working under supervision,working as a team and if there's something we don't understand we ask our manager or supervisor to come and assist.I have learnt a lot doing all the job in the store,cashier, packer,fruit and veg assistant and deli.ive enjoy being a cashier a lot,talking with customers and calculating money.The most challenging aspects is when a customer vent her anger and the only thing I do to deal with the situation I call my manager to come and solve problem.

Driven by success
Working in the retail industry is no childs play. I've learnt to be as tough as a nail yet flexible and assertive I've.learnt discipline,respect,how to separate work from feelings and how to grow and inspire a workforce of over 300 staff members. How to be a leader and not a boss...a company is is building..It's the staff that needs to know your vision..your service and believe in it...

Good opportunity to learn and grow within the company
Working at a checkers store is great because there is never a dull moment. It's a very fast paced lifestyle so there's no room for relaxation,u always have to be on the move. you form a unique bond with Co workers,management and even customers because there see your face everyday,just like another family at work. theres always new opportunities to grow within the company which is what I liked about working there. the only downfall is the hours which is too long and your family time is restricted to a minimum at home .
