Due to lack of resources there is no much exposure, the department uses CR system
Our department is one of the busiest from mondays until Wednesdays. We get both outpatients and inpatients everyday The department only has one xray room which gets quite hectic during busy days eg orthopedic days and festive seasons. The hospital is very small hospital and we have a very close working relationship and batho pele principle is practised at all times. I personally got to learn more about batho pele principles because the community itself is diverse from different languages to different social statuses, and theri differences does not mean thy have to be treated differently. I enjoyed getting to interact with the community and learn different languages and cultures

I'm a hard worker willingness to learn and grow within the company
I work well with others I'm a team player..I do filling admin and also do cleaning ..I deal with patients on a daily ...I have good computer skills ..time management ..good problem solving skills
Pros: Great opportunity .you can grow with in the company

Being given a task on doing tools that you have never seen
i work with different customers with different characters and i am a team player who is always aiming to achieve their goal i have learned that Quality Assurance is a core department of the hospital and that the hospital cannot operate without it., i enjoy doing reports and statistics . The challenge is when you have to teach someone something for long and they don't understand.
Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: working under pressure and not having the support from your superiors

Excellent work relationships
Working for the department of health is quite challenging as there are issues of shortage of staff,lack of resources and structural problems. One has to be a nurse ,pharmacist and admin in one.Besides the challenges I'm faced with I really love working with the community it means a lot for me to make a difference in one's life.In the facility I'm working in we value team work I really enjoy working with my colleagues even though we are faced we many challenges I go to work light hearted as I know I've got a strong team behind we work so well together.Ive a gained alot of knowledge and skills that have made competent to manage my clients holistically.

Good work where i learn a lot
I enjoy my work for its very challenging and you learn new things everyday.It connects me with my colleagues and form part of a strong team work,respect and skills. I got a very good relationship with my co-workers esecially my managers because we do lots of things together as per my job description,they also delegate me in most cases to conduct reviews and pre reviews(presentations). I enjoy being in control of my job(data) as expected. I have learnt lot of things and changes also challenges in a workplace or amongst ourselves as coworkers.

Community service delivery
Clinical work 60%. Management 40%. Daily history taking physical examinations, investigation and management of varied clinical conditions. Appropriate referal to secondary and tertiary level care. Appropriate who list is approach with availability of allied medical support. Clinical governance: education and training of doctors. Workshops, updating guidelines, CME , mortality reviews. Leave management . Reducing waiting times and improving service delivery. Complaint management.
Pros: Flexibility to initiate local protocols to improve service delivery
Cons: Poor infrastructure. Staff shortage and no recruitment to replace staff.

Lifetime experience
Working for the department ,especially the sections I have worked in, you can not let your guard down, because you become accountable for everything you do. everybody wakes up every morning to get bread for their families, so they will do anything to save their own skin. when capturing the payments one must ensure that proper documentation is in hand and it must be scrutinized. Having a privilege to make sound decisions and overall meaningful contribution to the office is fulfilling.
Pros: learning how the different departments come together to bring about service delivery to the community

Excellent learning curve
I work 5 days per week which is 40 hours, I have understanding and stable relationship with my colleagues and also I have learned to work with a group to which actually made my work more easily, the most challenging aspects of my job was working with people whom they are my seniors and some managing them so it made me to grow psychological and socially

Excellent learning carve
I am a hard worker .with good communication skills I can work under pressure . I know how to deal with stress I focus on work that is my greatest streght .I am a fast learner and salary is not my first piority since am searching for job .I have diploma in public management, that takes me 3years ilove working with people and helping them .
