Good company but no room for error

A good company to work for but not flexible when it comes to errors or mistakes. They ar aiming to be the best and they don't care who gets hurt on the way to the top

Great experience

Team oriented. Goal driven. We have a good strong relationship with our team leaders. We get incentives everymoth. We do get challenges such as having overflow of calls then we would work over time to meet deadline.

Pros: hard worker. fast learner. good with numbers
Cons: sense of urgency.

I appreciate that I have moved departments and have learnt a lot in the process.

The environment tends to be a bit gloomy due to being unhappy. I love my company, I love what it stands for and the vision. But the treatment of the people can sometimes be impersonal

Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Negative people, ridiculous expectations from a few individuals.

Good entry level job

I have been working for Discovery Health for 3 years now. It is a great place, with many young individuals. However there are not a lot of growth opportunities. Especially in my field of study wich is Analytical Chemistry. I have a great entry level job with co workers who love their job. But I need to advance for my career by getting expirience in my field of study.

Good experience in administrative work

I have good experience in Microsoft excel and word and I have 5 years within the underwriting industry. I hold a health and safety certificate through UNISA. I have a compensation for injury on duty certificate through UNISA and I have a claims assessing and underwriting certificate through workers academy of insurance.

Excellent relaxed working environment

I have learnt to work independently. Make decisions in a confident manner. Holistic approach to nursing. I enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life. Helping them deal with their illness in the comfort of their homes. In depth health education given diagnosis and individual specific. A challenging aspect is finding my way to their homes. The patients are spread across the city. Some do not have actual addresses. Locating them can be challenging.

Ecellent room for growth and use my analytical skills in the new role

Work with The genesys application I support telephone queries in my current Role, Its analytical and fixes are not always straight from the book our application is always up to date and when something breaks we are Liaise with the Developers by provide accurate information of where the problem is. good relationship with my colleagues we have fun days and strive to be the best. I enjoy solving all the queries that come to me on a regular basis and they give me enthusiasms to find more workarounds to problems.I remote to uses computers and assist promptly all is done remotely I assist UK , And South Africa all regions Durban, PE,Cape Town and Pretoria.

Cons: Upgrading Systems from one to another id critical is there a standby by plan should completion fail

Excellent chance of growing my wings and making a name for myself

Stressful work days. Long hours but i excel under pressure. Love having colleagues around as it makes your day go faster. Learnt how to deal with various types of people. Also learnt skills like management, leadership etc. Challings aspectz of my job is the book value. My current portfolio is R110000000.
