Excellent learning
Working at edcon was really nice, the experience I have gained with them it's was alot because I started working with them after my matrix, I gain experience on how to be a good leader, do interviews, planning, and most of all to work in the store at their biggest store

High performance culture and customer centric
Being a store manager in my environment and my customer segment comes with different challenges daily always forcing you to raise your bar from the previous one, it is fulfilling and insightful. It's been a challenge that has grown me as a person. My greates achievement in this role is successfully undergoing a revamp with various complexities from a store size 3200sq to 6002sq within tight timelines and still considering my customer and trade. My second win is seeing my store team delivering on great customer experience despite the store complexities. Being able to influence my team to always put the customer 1st and seeing them feel great about it. My work environment is a fast paced environment which requires every staff member to be on top of their game every hour.

Excellent learning curve
Not much growth in a bigger store, not much appreciation for time and effort, no contribution for medical aid nor provident fund. A smaller store has more potential, team work and eager staff.

On job training , team work , self management, poeple skills
I really enjoy my job on our deadline day we run a report to not make any mistakes with our sign offs , we change each other hourly with my team .that report showes employees already signed off and still outstanding, the report also shows who's the Administrater that is behind with his /her work so that who finish first start assisting. In my department we are team players. I have learned to not put everything at heart, I have obtained leadership skills ,I have learned to stand to crowed of Poeple and talk ( mention my views ),I have learned to do excel reports What I enjoy the most with my team , when we under pressure its where we love each other the most ,it where you is care . I love our team work . The most challenging its when the stores dont comply with the processes.

• Identify system errors and escalate to Relevant management for correction • Provide regular feedback to Division regarding queries within the agreed time frames • Escalate stores systems problems to Incidents Management for follow-up. • Maintain databases by sorting through paperwork received • Updating the Division Operation Manager Traveling Calendar. • Assist With Adhoc Queries. • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure business requirements are met. • Daily PA’s Functions. • Capturing Overtime

I have been doing Release Management for the past 12 years and Change Management six years.
Typical work day is to review and analyze all change requests with a view to minimize the risks for deployment. We are a team of 5 workers whereby all changes are investigated in detail to ensure quality governance. We live in a changing environment and in order to ensure that our business is protected at all times. I enjoy working with with my staff and as long as the job gets done. The most challenging part of my job is when things go wrong and in turn learning how to root the problem at it's core.

Excellent training provided
The first thing I do when I get to the office, I test all the call centre lines to ensure that our IVR Is functional. Run the previous day report and send it through to the respective departments and Management. I have a strong relationship with most of the co-workers, some I don’t like me as I always give them instructions and notify them of changes. I've learnt that we all have different characters; I have to treat everyone with respect. I enjoy team buildings that's we get together and dance celebrate our achievements as a team. The most challenging aspect is that whenever we drop our service level they always point at WFM team however retrieving the report always give a bigger picture.

I am a fast learner
i did enjoy each an every moment of my work.i do have a passion to work with people i m a very polite person, my work comes first.i like to learn new things everyday an i would also like to grow .
